PPR leaguers: Anyone taking Bush and Deuce? (1 Viewer)

I decided to go with. I'm really pretty happy I did too. It's difficult not to like that high octane offense this year. Then I don't have to scream at the screen if Bush does the work outside the 20's and Deuce within.

I asked myself a simple question: Does Deuce have significantly less/more upside/downside than someone like Edge James (and the other RB's in the 18-24 RB area)? Barring injury, I can't see him scoring any less than 8 times. And I believe there's room for quite a few more than that.

Other tandems could include C.Taylor/Peterson and F.Taylor/Mojo. (Right now, there's no reason to think LT/Turner will be used in that fashion ....though SD would be damn smart to use Turner regularly since they are paying him decent coin.

I just happen to believe the Bush/Deuce reward far outweighs the latter 2 tandems. Any opinions on the Bush/Deuce tandem? Or other starting tandems?

It all depends on where you got them. But, if you took Deuce over Edge given the fact that you already had Bush, then I would consider that a mistake of monumental proportions.

1) agree with rad

2) but if you took Bush and then went WR, WR and Deuce was the best available in the 4th, I think it could be playable - certainly would allow you to take some chances for Week 4 plays late that might end up being a starter IF you had large enough rosters

3) or if it was best ball - something I considered in one of our recently completed survivor drafts, but didn't have the roster room to ultimately make it worthwhile.

I have Deuce ranked ahead of Edge. Bush/no Bush, I'd take Deuce over Edge. I think for 2007, that Saints offense is quite superior to the Cardinals. I think the Cardinals are a year or two away. I was far more impressed with Deuce in 2006 off the ACL than watching Edge anytime here in the desert last year. I just took the BPA in my mind.I went Jones-Drew with my 2nd pick. Holt with my 3rd. Snagged Deuce in 4th. Housh in the 5th. Coles with my 6th. Fragile with my 7th. JMO I'd rather start Bush + Jones-Drew + Deuce or Fragile as my RB3 than starting the RB3's on bad squads. (Jamal Lewis/Titans RB/Packers RB/etc...)
