For those saying Peyton to AZ - I just don't get it. They signed Kolb to a huge deal, and I would find it very hard to believe they would give up on him after one
injury-plagued first year to go with an aging, injured veteran for maybe 3-4 years (if they are lucky). They aren't about to cut Kolb already, and I don't see
them sinking all that $$ into Kolb AND Peyton.
And the Redskins? Nah, Peyton would only play for a team on the cusp of a championship. Redskins are too far off. Their offense is not pretty either.
If anyone, I could see him going with the Jets, if he's willing to deal with the drama and the Jets are willing to finally admit they were wrong with Sanchez. But
the more I think about it, I don't see either happening.
Soooo... possibly the Dolphins. Warm-weather team. I view them as only being a few pieces short of being back in the playoffs. Their defense was not bad at all.
They have Marshall, so Peyton would have a top WR. If Bush could stay healthy, he might have a decent RB.
Ravens? Peyton probably would be willing to, but I don't think Baltimore would give up on Flacco.
Browns?
Texans? Nah, they won't give up on Schaub.
Titans? They drafted Locker to be the franchise QB. And heck, I say give the kid a shot next year. He looked decent in the limited amount of time he played. If Britt could
ever stay healthy, that could be another great duo for years to come.
Jaguars?
Minny? Way too many missing pieces. ADP being seriously hurt makes even less appealing.
Falcons? They won't admit defeat with Ryan. In their minds, they have been in the playoffs the last... 4 years? And they believe a lot of it is because of "Matty Ice" (hate
that name and I live outside of Atlanta).
49ers? Eh, I think they want to try and stick with Alex Smith. Even if they didn't, Peyton doesn't have much in the way of WRs to throw to. Crabtree is alright, but he has
been rather blah himself since entering the NFL. Peyton might actually be the catalyst to that kid's future as an elite WR. They would need a decent #2 though. This might
be a very nice landing spot for him.
Seahawks? Eh, I'm not sure he'd want to move to a cold climate, and though they have some nice pieces, I think they are still a few missing pieces away from seriously
contending.
So, after all that, I'm going to say -- either Miami or SF.
