Predicting Where The Top 30 NFL Free Agents Will Sign This Offseason (1 Viewer)

Going by memory:

MG3 to the Chiefs

Amari Cooper to the Colts

AJ Green AND Hunter Henry to the Pats

Phillip Rivers retires/released

Teddy B to the Chargers

Jameis stays with Bucs

Tom Brady to the 49ers

Those are the most fantasy relevant players and their destinations

Why on earth would brady go to the 9ers?
Yeah, that was the last one under some heading like “BLOCKBUSTER PREDICTION!”.  I didn’t read their so called reasoning, because after managing to land both AJG and Hunter Henry of course Brady isn’t gone

I suppose I could see that. They definitely need to get that backfield sorted out. It's been so inconsistent all year. But maybe they'll just look to the draft.

Wait, Brady goes to backup Jimmy, while the pats sign green and HH?

MM to backup Wilson makes some sense.

Don't see Cooper in Indy. He probably doesn't leave Dallas. but if he does, Buffalo should break the bank for him.

Buffalo has the 4th most cap space available behind the Bucs, Colts and Dolphins.

They are on the rise at a good time with NE finally (maybe?......hopefully?) set to decline.

You better believe they will add some big names.

Buffalo wouldn't be a bad option for A.J. Green, actually.

Byron Jones: Houston
Houston needs pass rush help much more than another corner. Roby will probably be extended, Joseph will retire, but they picked up Gareon Conley for a 3rd and Vernon Hargreaves off waivers. They may not be great but at least they're guys with potential upside as reclamation projects, Texans have nothing at pass rush after trading away Clowney and Watt getting injured again. A guy like Dante Fowler seems like a better target for them.

Why is that?  The Colts are in desperate need for a stud WR.  I could definitely see the Colts making a push for Cooper and they have the cap room for sure (most, or 2nd most in the league?).   If they don't sign someone like Cooper they will draft one of the big name WRs in the first round of the draft, bank on it.  I could see them drafting someone like Cee Dee Lamb and to a lesser degree Laviska Shenault.

It makes sense for Indy, but I'd bet on his wanting to play with a good QB.  Maybe they draft one of the young guns and he'll have signed with that understanding.

I actually think Buffalo makes a push for him, and he'd be better off playing with Allen.  Could see Philly making another push for a cowboy WR and Wentz would be the best QB he's played with but I'm not sure how their cap looks after addressing other needs. Las Vegas might work if there's no bad blood.   They will probably want to make a splash in FA, but bringing him back might not be ideal.

I guess I wouldn't be shocked if he went to Indy.

Indy has a lot of money but so do a bunch of other teams with needs at WR and without major questions at QB. A guy like Cooper would have his pick of places to go so will be hard to predict if he doesn't stay with the Cowboys.

The available cap room out there among all teams is astounding, definitely going to be some "ZOMG they paid that guy how much!?!?!" this offseason.

These are the Bills we are talking about?

I agree with you that they are in prime position...I even thought about this already and was going to post my thoughts.

So my question to you is this...what if they do what Buffalo seems to do, watch talent leave and then go replace the very postition you should have kept locked up and go draft replacements. It's like treading water or being stuck in the mud...I've seen Miami do similar so I'm not picking on just Buffalo.

I really have no idea about the front office, I'm just looking at the need with a good young QB to have a better wr than John Brown (who is a fine #2)

What if they draft Tua?  If they sign Cooper they could spend their 1st on a QB.   I would like that.

Pretty big if since they are sitting at 16 with teams like Miami, Jax, LAC, Carolina all well in front of them. Plus FA comes before the draft so there's no guarantee for Cooper they land a good young QB. I could see Indy going the FA route for a placeholder and then moving up for one of the QB's in the draft though.

Indy's got enough money to throw a monster contract at any FA out there though so who knows.

I'd bet ;)

It seems tua will be gone before Indy picks.  Maybe not, he may fall if the injury concern remains.

Maybe they break the bank.

It should be an interesting off season.

Problem is the Colts never spend big in free agency.  I do wish they would loosen the purse strings some and get a top flight WR.

Where's Robby Anderson going? Any guesses? Packers maybe?
I've heard Miami as one possibility bec he is from there and they need another WR.

Also wondering about Ryan Tannehill. He has proven that he deserves to be a starter but will TN stick with him?  My guess is that if TN wins this week and makes the playoffs that they will give Tannehill an extension.

Another interesting player is Breshad Perriman. Will he stay in Tampa or go elsewhere?  Is his recent success the real Perriman or an illusion?

I'm somewhat more interested in Anderson than Cooper.  I'm just guessing, but he could easily be a better value than Cooper.

If the Titans don't extend Tanny, there will be a lot of unhappy fans in Nashville. Dude absolutely deserves it. (Assuming reasonable)

Yep. I hear that.

Is it just me or doesn’t the Tannehill thing feel a bit like Case Keenum, Nick Foles.....2.0.....just waiting to happen....
