Presidential Debate Thread - Obama vs. Romney (2 Viewers)

Prez going out of his way several times to say "Governor, I know you've never had to act as commander in chief and make these decisions, but..."

Prez being aggressive and taking control in the first session.

Whenever I hear Obama talk in these debates I wonder if he understands that he is the incumbent and has a record...

Can't watch debate: How is it looking for Romney? Only conservative need reply. I know what to expect from the progressives.
Not a conservative, but not a progressive either, and I am voting for Mitt. :)So far, it's not looking good. Obama is controlling the discussion. Mitt looked visibly upset at being attacked, the way he did against Newt Gingrich a few times. He looks petulant, which is not good for him. But it's early.

Romney is where Obama was 4 years ago. The presidential experience gives Obama a huge advantage in this debate.

This one is sort of unfair. Obama has been dealing with this stuff in real life for 4 years. Mitt basically studied for this in a textbook. And it shows.

Neither side too impressive but mostly because the topic isnt as crucial as the 1st debate.Obame tried to pull a Biden and cut in and got shut down. Just not as high priority as the economy so the tone much more controlled.

But how many voters were really waiting until tonight to base their vote on foreign policy? He just needs to not be a moron and threaten to blow up the middle east.

Seems like he's going out of his way to say he's not "the war guy"... so far so good

I like what Obama did with Libya. If it was GWB we would have lost thousands of Americans getting Gaddafi out of there.

I'll never understand why the candidate NOT the president agreeing to a debate like this. There's no way to win. I can't imagine he has CLOSE to the details about foreign countries like the president does, right?
