Just wondering what the thoughts are on the possibility of Priest Holmes being released/traded to another team. If he truly wants to play, is cleared medically and another team wants him things could get very interesting very quickly.
The issue for Holmes is that up until now he has not been cleared to play. It's not that the Chiefs don't want him. I doubt anyone would trade for him seeing how he can't play, and if he COULD play he wouldn't be on the trading block.
KC will wait out the 6 games while he's on the PUP list and likely with put him on IR for the season unless he magically gets well enough to play.
Don't forget that he has not practiced and has a serious medical condition. If he went to another team it's highly unlikely that he would put up his usual numbers even if healthy.

I've got to disagree with that. LJ is clearly the man in KC. If Priest is cleared to play I think it would benefit the Chiefs more to deal him rather than have Priest sitting on the bench. He would want to play and would be a distraction. Trade him to a team where he can play and everyone's happy.
