In my league we have $450 of prize money to distribute at the end of the season. Prizes are given out for winning your division, 1st place, 2nd place and having the highest weekly score of the season. We're looking to shake things up with some new prize categories. Here are some we've come up with so far...

Prizes for...

-third place

-highest scoring player (for the season) at each position

-highest scoring team that does NOT make the playoffs

-team with the most points scored AGAINST (full season

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I like leagues pay out weekly hi's, wins, toilet bowl champs, playoff qualifications should get something. I absolutely hate leagues just pay top 2 or 3 teams with all the prize money at end. I also hate cheap leagues.

I've found over the years the higher the entry fee, the better quality of owners and better quality of league!

I dont waste my energy anything under 100 per team for sure. Prefer 200 and up!

Thanks. I agree with your sentiments. I think there should be prizes for teams other than the top 2-3.
