It's actually not that far from Costco's own Chix noodle soup, which is pretty good too. Might be a fall/winter/spring only item. Just bought some the other day. Not much in the way of noodles. I like plenty o' noodles. Angrywife does this in a big pot and then freezes a bunch of individual servings that we keep in the deep freeze. Big fan of this approach.Making your own chicken noodle soup is so simple these days, I'm amazed people still eat canned.

My town doesn't allow you to have chickens unless you own 5+ acres. Bastards. You guys buy chicken? Really? I raise chickens in my backyard. It's really not that hard.
I make my own chickens and pay someone to raise them. It's the only way to do it anymore. You guys buy chicken? Really? I raise chickens in my backyard. It's really not that hard.

Odd... I find the exactly opposite to be true here in Memphis. The Kroger chickens are tiny and fatty, and the Costco Chickens are much larger, cheaper, and loaded with quality meat. Moist but definitely not slimy or fatty.Mr. Ected said:I hate Costco rotisserie chicken, though. It's generally fatty and slimy. It also stinks to high heaven unless you eat the whole thing that day.
Yup, Costco's chickens are awesome and such a great price. For years, shareholders have been trying to get them to raise the price, but they haven't. Love me some Costco.Odd... Beef boullion cube, criss-cross cut and stuff in an onion, foil wrap and grill.I once tried to eat a bouillon cube.
Quote was from RockAction. I love Costco Chickens. Favorites still are from Wegmans. They have multiple flavors to choose from. Wife and I do this, but we save all the chicken bones in the freezer for a few months from when I cook chicken on the grill. There's usually enough meat left on those suckers, and you get all the spices and smoke flavor in the soup.Making your own chicken noodle soup is so simple these days, I'm amazed people still eat canned.

Perhaps it is our particular CostCo. Have you ever tried re-heating their dark meat vs. reheating a baked, organic Costco chicken from the oven? Not even close.Odd... I've eaten those. I also eat Lipton onion soup right from the package, and uncooked minute riceI once tried to eat a bouillon cube.
No kidding. My daughter loves soup and I tried to find one low in sodium and it was impossible. Even the 'low sodium' have a ton of sodium.the canned soup will sodium kill you.......they should put atorvistatin in the same aisle.
