Likely starting him in Superflex. Hes slid a little these last few weeks, coupled with the Thursday game which are attributed with stinkers. Has me quite nervous, but likely the best option I have.

Would love to see him put on a show against the Chargers.

Through the first half, Bo Nix is 6/7 for 48 yards & 2 TDs passing on the run (8+ mph) with 25 rushing yards on 2 scramble runs (both first downs).

Bo Nix ends the night with 3.3 air yards per attempt, which is the second-lowest air yards per attempt in a game this season (min. 20 attempts), per @NextGenStats

The lowest? Bryce Young with 3.0 in Week 2 against...the Chargers.

Jesse Minter defense!

If you happen to have started Bo Nix last night, like me, you probaly aren’t complaining. But a little salty about what could have been.

You can blame me if you want. Sent my buddy who helps me make a few roster decisions on occasion this message near the end of the second quarter.

“Bo has already put up exactly what I hoped for/wanted from him with a whole 6:00 and a half to play

Feels nice”

I put the stink/jinx on him as he did virtually nothing after that.

guy was on his way to a monster game and the wheels came off - cant complain but rough.

they have $50M under the cap - hopefully they give him some more weapons/protections - but next year should be top 10 QB.

Yeah. Can’t complain at all. But like you I thought I was about to walk into a 30-40 burger after that start and send my opponent packing on a Thursday.

Hated that decision to kick quick on the last drive, though I know team wise it’s likely the right call.

Interestingly enough I started him over Herbert. Which looked like the right call most of the game. But he did the opposite and turned it on late and ended up outscoring Nix by .7 points in my scoring. Wasn’t the wrong call either way, just funny.

Bo Nix joins CJ Stroud and Justin Herbert as the only rookies in NFL history to have six games or more of 200 passing yards, 2 TD's and no interceptions. Source: Rich Eisen

Sure seems like a franchise-caliber QB to me

Pump the brakes. Mac Jones after his rookie season:
For his performance in his first season, Jones was named to the 2021 PFWA All-Rookie Team and finished second in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting behind Ja'Marr Chase.[76][77] He was also selected as an alternate to the 2022 Pro Bowl, making him the fourth Patriots rookie and the franchise's first rookie quarterback to receive Pro Bowl honors.[78] On the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022, Jones was ranked 85th by his fellow players.[79]

Excellent rookie year (the fact he was drafted #12 and is not surrounded by high-level skill players makes it even more so)...expectations for rookie/young QBs can be so unrealistic in today's NFL...I think the whole take advantage of the rookie contract mindset can actually hurt a young QB's development at times...Payton nailed this pick and it is very impressive how quickly the Broncos got out of the hole they were in two years ago with the Wilson (and Hackett) debacle...this kid has a chance to go on a nice, long run of high-quality fantasy seasons...those who have him in SF are going to be very happy.

Bo Nix's 51-yard TD pass to Marvin Mims traveled 67.0 yards in the air, the longest completion by air distance of the season and the second-longest in the NGS era (since 2016), behind only P.J. Walker to D.J. Moore in Week 8, 2022 (67.6 yards).

All the folks screaming that he was just a "dink and dunk" passer at Oregon sure have gone quiet about Nix.

Yep. And imagine if one of Mims, Vele or Franklin becomes a consistent #2 type receiver to pair with Sutton and one of the others a good #3 type. Further imagine they draft a top TE prospect. Very exciting future.

Also imagine if they draft a stud RB to replace the junk we currently have. Also imagine if somehow they are able to land T Higgins in free agency.

The last few losses suck but it has put them in better position to get Tyler Warren in the draft.

I was shocked how little Mims was being used the first couple years. I thought for sure he would be a stud coming out of college.

Agree with the Mims usage. Very odd when you see games like last night.

Play in an 8 keeper league where I picked up Nix as a FA early in season, so have him as a last round keeper (weird rules). Also have Daniels as a 6th round keeper. Think I will keep them both and not stress about QB for the next few years.

Next Gen Stats
Bo Nix's 43-yd TD pass to Franklin traveled 53.5 yards in the air, Nix's fourth completion of the season over 50 yards, 4th-most in the NFL.

Only Jayden Daniels (6), C.J. Stroud (5) and Jared Goff (5) have more 50+ air distance completions than Nix.

I know so far most people don't sound too excited about this incoming WR class; but I think if Denver takes one of them to pair with Nix, they'll get a very healthy bump to their ADP.

What’s impressive is that Nix looked good without a legit running game, without a legit TE and only one legit receiver for most the year.
Agreed. The narrative in some other threads about Nix having already reached his ceiling are way off base. Wait until he gets some legit weapons (and/or current ones continue to develop e.g. Mims, Franklin, Vele).

The Athletic's Mock Draft has the Broncos taking Ashton Jeanty at 20.....and boy oh boy would THAT be fun!

20. Denver Broncos: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Should Jeanty fall this far? Of course not. But if Dallas decides to pass, there aren’t many obvious landing spots for him in the top 18. From the Boise State Broncos to the Denver Broncos, Jeanty would add another level to Sean Payton’s offense and continue to help Bo Nix ascend as one of the league’s bright young quarterbacks.

I would imagine one of those “not too obvious” landing spots would gobble him up long before he got to 20. Backfields aren’t like they used to be. Who had Seattle taking Charbonnet?

I’m not gonna get my hopes up. The good news is this is a pretty deep draft for RB’s. If Jeanty somehow slipped into the teens it is possible Denver might move up. Sean Payton has been known to go get his guy. That being said Payton has always liked to use multiple RB’s so I don’t know if he would invest that much draft capital.

@32BeatWriters
“For the first time since high school, he has the same head coach and play caller in place in back-to-back seasons. The same quarterbacks coach, too, in Davis Webb. He is likely to have the same starting offensive line in front of him. His top target, Courtland Sutton, is back, as well.”
Denver might give Kansas City a run for their money for the division this year.
