QB-Center exchange fumbles (1 Viewer)

I thought that fumbles on the snap were credited to the QB, yet when I look on NFL.com they have the GB center credited for 2 fumbles lost. I know he didn't carry the ball, so what exactly went on during the game.

just a guess, but it may depend on whether or not it was a bad snap that the QB couldn't get to (C fumble) or a good snap that the QB bobbles (QB fumble)?

I would think that QB cannot fumble if he doesn't have possession. The second GB fumble was a shotgun that hit Brett in the facemask.
