The Monday Night Football flex of moving Chiefs-Patriots to today and Eagles-Seahawks to Monday night has given Hurts a chance to play. If the game were played today, as originally scheduled, it would have been tougher for him to play.

Just did exactly this. Other option would be Sam Howell, which I'm now consideringMariota may be a necessary pick up for those of us expecting to start Hurts on Monday.
Jalen Hurts has been downgraded to "Questionable" with an illness. He's reportedly going to fly separately to Seattle for the Monday Night Game.
I agree with our Jason Wood here, who wrote:
"There's little precedent for someone missing a game due to flu-like symptoms outside of when the NFL was enforcing strict Covid protocols. I would be stunned if Hurts missed the game, and I don't think it would materially impact his performance.
"That leaves people with two options -- pick up Lock or Mariota. Both should be widely available because it's the playoffs, and few playoff teams were starting Geno Smith or need a QB like Lock (who was already projected to start on many sites, ours included).
"If, for some reason, someone has a quality QB2 in lieu of Hurts, I would strongly consider it, provided they're not a massive underdog in their playoff matchup."
My take is I think Hurts plays. Star QBs on a top team that's reeling don't sit out games on Monday Night in Week 15. Never forget the NFL is a television show. And nothing sells like hope and drama. I expect wall-to-wall Michael Jordan Flu Game hype up till game time.
If I could get Mariota or Lock as pivots, I roll with Hurts unless I had a super strong backup option. If had a stellar backup QB available like Allen, Jackson, Prescott, Mahomes, Purdy or Stafford, I'd consider them as they're more safe in that you feel certain they'll play.
But my gut feel is Hurts is not sitting out Monday Night Football and if you can back him up with Mariota or Lock I think you're ok.
I had to drop Howell to pick up Mariota. Hoping Hurts plays, making it a non-issue.Just did exactly this. Other option would be Sam Howell, which I'm now consideringMariota may be a necessary pick up for those of us expecting to start Hurts on Monday.
Yeah Hurts still has 30 hours to recover. There is a good chance he's feeling mostly fine when he wakes up tomorrow. He would have to be so extremely ill to not play tomorrow. I feel pretty safe. What I sent to subscribers:

Not for me I have to put Purdy in the lineup since there are no waivers in the high stakes National contests now.Mariota may be a necessary pick up for those of us expecting to start Hurts on Monday.
What are your other options?I just realized I also have Mariota, so I'm probably rolling with the Eagles QB. I don't feel great about it, though.

I’m in the same situation but I’ve made a decision: I dropped Mariota to pick up Howell.Just did exactly this. Other option would be Sam Howell, which I'm now consideringMariota may be a necessary pick up for those of us expecting to start Hurts on Monday.
I still might decide to start Howell. He hasn't always looked pretty, but his scoring has been really consistent this year.I’m in the same situation but I’ve made a decision: I dropped Mariota to pick up Howell.Just did exactly this. It’s the playoffs. I can’t rely upon uncertainties. Howell is more of a sure thing than The Eagles QB situation, so I’m rolling with him.
Hurts probably sick of those "don't fumble" drills they had him doing in practice the other day. So lame.
Rolling out Lawrence myself. Best of luck.Ya I am rolling Howell out, some.pts are better than none.
Watch Hurts light it up too

@AdamSchefter has the latest on Jalen Hurts' status for tonight's MNF game.

Good luck. I think you are goodMy fantasy season hangs on him tonight. My 2 most important leagues. Down 17 in a 6 pt per passing and down 27 in PPR with Hurts and Smith. Normally I would feel pretty dang good about getting the wins but this adds just enough worry for me. God help me if I have to sub Mariotta in.
There's not a player in fantasy I would trust more in this situation. He's never let me down. I took a gamble on him trading away Hebert after his rookie year and trading for Hurts instead. He's made me look very smart so far and has been the core I've built my dynasty team around.Good luck. I think you are goodMy fantasy season hangs on him tonight. My 2 most important leagues. There's been some stuff going around. I work at a high school and a lot of kids and teachers have missed a bunch of school lately. Some have tested positive for COVID, some for the flu, some for both and some for neither. IDK what's going on but there is nasty stuff in the air right now.A lot of speculation Hurts has covid. Maybe it was Rap or Sheft but they very (add oddly) said it is NOT the flu but he is most definitely going through something major.
So cryptic but seems to be he legitimately may miss tonight. I hope that's not the case.

Jalen Hurts is at Lumen Field and will be active to start at QB for the #Eagles vs. the Seahawks, an NFL source said.
Yep, saw it's being officially reported he is active and starting. Arrived to the game in all Jordan gear. Flu game coming.Hes playing

I would think it’s pretty much all or nothing. If he was too weak for run a sneak he would be too weak to play. I would be more worried about foggy mind and slower decisions on pass plays then him running for tough yardsI wonder how this will change his playing style tonight. Will he be as willing/able to run? Do they tush push as often?
Let's find out!
That or it was a tough primetime road game where he was battling with an illness and a knee injury.Wentz 2.0. Paid him too early, now he's getting exposed.
Yes, hopefully they can trade him soon.Wentz 2.0. Paid him too early, now he's getting exposed.
Exposed as a turnover machine? The DB's (Julian Love) 1st INT probably gets called for PI if the WR fights for the ball. Reviewing the play at the url below, clearly, the WR has first eyes on the ball. But he then allows Love to plant a hand into his chest, for a bit, even a handful of jersey which completely alters the WR's path to the ball. Right at that critical moment when the DB is playing the WR and NOT the ball, if the WR takes a more aggressive approach to the ball he very likely draws the penalty. With the ball placed at the 2, maybe 3yd line everybody knows what happens next & the subsequent desperation INT isn't even thrown....Wentz 2.0. Paid him too early, now he's getting exposed.
