Yeah, that didn't help. I think he re-injured it against the Ravens when Ngata fell on him - or, maybe that was the initial injury. My memory is slipping and I'm too lazy to parse out the details
As for the Daniels/Jackson comparisons, Daniels is by far the better passer at a similar point in their careers. He throws a prettier ball and has a cannon for an arm. Jackson was faster, more elusive as a runner, and IMO could run his receivers open better.
The biggest thing I think Lamar Jackson has done for some of the QBs that followed him is that he learned. And, by that, I mean
coaches have also learned. You don't hear people like Accorsi and Lombardi hollering "he should be a RB or WR" anymore because these newer QBs are so much more prepared (& in much more welcoming environments) than they were just 8 years ago.
