QB Kyler Murray, ARZ (5 Viewers)

never again this year....Jayden Daniels keeps balling on my bench, and actually shows special. Kyler shows he's meh

I don't understand why he just didn't run all game. He was consistently getting pressured and it looked like was waiting to be sacked to prove a point.

Didn't watch the whole game but maybe it's the Jalen Hurts affect. Coaches over emphasized staying in the pocket and reading the defense in 2023 to protect him from taking big hits. It was to his detriment though as he lost that instinctual escape move when he felt trouble. Not sure if the coaches are telling KM the same to keep him healthy. At some point though you just have to let the guy play.

Kyler seemed to let lose and just take off when he could yesterday. He got that 50 yard TD easy and it scared the SF defense for the rest of the day. He still got another 33 yards on 6 carries. That's what he needs to do. Put the fear of God into the defense with his legs and it opens everything else up for th offense.

Totally agree. And he needs a coaching staff that encourages him to do this…..

Kyler Murray announced a partnership with the Call of Duty franchise, saying, "to the trollss who memed me into a bag, thank you!"

That's awesome for Kyler, and hilarious that he's getting paid because people took a joke and ran with it.

this is what I signed up for I guess, high ceiling, low floor, lots of variance. It cost me two matchups so far starting him over my other option, which is Baker, but then in my case I thought Baker had a much lower floor than Kyler and I was very wrong on that.

Not getting a ton of high ceiling at the moment is the problem

He's borderline droppable at this point

Starting Baker and Maye over him this week where I have him and possibly moving forward. One of those is more obvious than the other.

I wonder if folks are conflating Murray's value as an NFL QB to his team versus his fantasy value. In other words, he is not playing great right now. But to bench him for players of the ilk of Maye and Nix seems reactionary. Even when Murray is not a good NFL QB (which is pretty often), he has been a very good fantasy performer due to his running numbers. Starting him with mild confidence over Goff who has the tough Minnesota defense this week.

Ridiculous. He has not played well and yet his stats place him in the top ten of QBs this year, fantasy-wise. He's outscored Hurts, Goff, Cousins, Dak and Mahomes to name a few. Sure, if you have a different top ten QB you can drop him but undoubtedly he would be an upgrade for at least a few teams (in 12-team leagues).

2-4. Cardinals are top 5 in points allowed. Yet Murray is 16th in passing attempts. They lose and give up lots of points. I think his passing attempts begin to increase moving forward. Imo

…the jags just let a another rookie qb violate them last week. They let Deshaun Watson put up a top 12 performance. And Maye also has rushing upside. I’m not sold 100% I’m gonna do it yet but I only have a couple hours left to be undecided. I do not think it’s that crazy to start Maye over Murray, however. If he has a better game than he did last week against a better defense in Houston where he dropped 21.5 points with almost 40 yards rushing, then I’ll take it.

He's had one of, if not the, toughest schedules for QBs this season but this fantasy playoff schedule is Gold. This is what we've been waiting for. Does that mean you can trust him? Who knows but I have no choice.

Jameis Winston next week v. CIN is catching my eye though and, depending on if I win/how Kyler plays tomorrow, it's gonna be tough to not scratch that YOLO itch in Week 16.

I’ll have the same choice. Hard to sit Jameis against the Bengals

With just 22 seconds left in regulation (trailing 30-27), Kyler Murray reached a top speed of 20.99 mph on his 5-yard scramble run to set up a game-tying field goal, the 2nd-fastest play by QB as a ball carrier this season (Murray reached 21.27 mph in Week 5).

With a loss against the Panthers, the Cardinals would be eliminated from the postseason. With a win, that number jumps to 15% according to the live NGS playoff probability model.
