FoxSports speculated out 6-8 weeks. Who knows if that is accurate.I think White is out for the year.
Hip injury. My guess is done for season. He had something that let go in hip. They will need surgery likely and he will have extensive physical therapy. Just my first thought.FoxSports speculated out 6-8 weeks. Who knows if that is accurate.
Pats will try to play defense like the rams did, but they don't have the same pass rush and their eraser is on IR, Brady will succeed. Jones' stat line will look very similar to this weeks' stat line.Offensive line is trash and the receiving core leaves much to be desired. Jonnu left him out to dry several times via drops/tossing the ball up for a pick. NO D looked real good on Sunday. Hard for Mac to do anything when he's got half a second to throw. I think him not throwing to the 1s much in preseason is showing with lack of chemistry with Agholor etc.
That being said, he's got decent pocket awareness and isn't afraid to take a hit.
I agree that next week the Pats are gonna get smoked... but that TB secondary is banged up bad and the Pats D doesn't look terrible so who knows.
Mac got hit 9 times vs Miami, some were hard hits. It was worse vs NO. Why doesn't Josh mix in a few rollouts? He's a sitting target dropping back the same on every play.Offensive line is trash and the receiving core leaves much to be desired. Agreed on both. The lack of creative playcalling using the two TEs they have is astounding.Mac got hit 9 times vs Miami, some were hard hits. It was worse vs NO. Why doesn't Josh mix in a few rollouts? He's a sitting target dropping back the same on every play.
I admire his moxie and ability to wait till the last second to throw, but he's gonna get hurt at this rate. His WRs are not that good, but the TE combo should top 10.
Mac Jones completed 31-of-40 passes for 275 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the Patriots' Week 4 loss to the Bucs.
Jones had his best game of the season against a Bucs secondary that lost CB Carlton Davis in the first half. He put the Patriots in position to win late, with Nick Folk missing a game-winning field goal. Jones connected on red-zone throws to Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry for his touchdowns and locked on to Jakobi Meyers for 12 targets. The Patriots' pass-heavy game scripts over the past two weeks sets Jones up nicely for a Week 5 matchup with the Texans.
