QB Russell Wilson, NYG (1 Viewer)

Still pessimistic. Admit, I only watched the first half, but seemed lot of throws were designed short passes due to lack of protection. Would imagine defenses will adjust quickly.  Then again, Brady has been dinking/dunking his way for years.  Wilson will prob remain on my bench another week and see how the trend goes.

... Don't give up too much for him, try to get him for a song. I bet most owners are going to be happy to get rid of him in a trade instead of just plain dropping him to justify getting even a hint of return value for him this year. Now is the time to pounce, before Monday night.

Window to pick up this guy up cheap just closed. He showed on that bootleg he has a lot if not all of his speed back and it looked like the brace is off (just appeared to be taped up more than usual unless I was mistaken or possibly in a sleeve to improve stability). Graham is healthy and they have no running game with what they have at RB until Rawls gets back. It's so bad they are not even trying to run with Michael anymore. Prosise might have potential, but appears to be a 3rd down guy at this point and shouldn't be a threat to Rawls. This teams could use Rawls asap, especially with that line. They need a guy that can create on his own desperately. 33 yards rushing and 23 of those yards are from the QB/WR. We got problems.

I did a double take on those two TDs to Graham. Looked like Brees out there when Graham played for NO as he just received the snap, and immediately lofted it up to Graham for easy TDs. No way even the best pass rushers could get to him before he released the ball, and no way a LB or typical CB could defend that pass with the arc and speed/catch/size of Graham. Its almost indefensible. You could tell by the quickness of how fast the pass was thrown and the trajectory of the arc that Graham has his speed back now. There is no stopping that play if Graham is on his game, and looks like Russell has the chemistry with Graham now to pull that seam play out of his hat anytime he wants to run it with full confidence.

For anyone keeping score.... My 2 new players out scored my previously owned players by more than 20. Hardly getting hosed.
If I didn't bench him or trade Eli I would have won. Wilson had a good game, you are smarter than me, good luck.

This is the 2nd statistically solid game in a row for Wilson.  His wheels look pretty good.  Is he gonna be a must start again?

His mobility is what makes him Russell Wilson. Obviously impressive stat line but watching the game last night you can see he's back.

A few weeks ago, I dont think he makes alot of those plays he made last night.  Including TD no2 to Baldwin.

Wilson's looking better but IMO still not 100%.  He's not a statue in the pocket anymore and can evade defenders but not the running threat he was before the injury.

From the casual observer, looks like O line play is getting him killed.
The O-line being bad is nothing new. They've been among the worst by any measure for years. Wilson was awful on his own this past week.

This said, I believe in Wilson like no other Seahawk QB that I've watched since 1977. I'm damn glad he's our QB now and looking into the future. No matter the situation we've learned that Wilson gives us a chance when the game is on the line.

I don't think I believe in him to start for me in fantasy anymore. Win a real NFL game sure.... but I'm about sick of him in fantasy. Note to self never go QB early again

For what it's worth, Wilson is MUCH better at home than on the road this season. At least 270 yards passing or a TD in every home game. Matchup also very good. Rams are the 11th-best QB matchup in Week 15. So statistically, this is a plus matchup for him. If you're looking for reasons to start him after last week's epic dumpster fire those would be the reasons and they are good ones at least.

The over throw to Jimmy was gawd awful. A 60 yard TD easy and he missed by a mile.
Pathetic and I love Russell but yeah that was awful. INT to Baldwin near the end zone was horrible too. Real bad underthrow. It was on the move but he still should've put some more zip on it. Baldwin was open. That's a throw Russell makes 9 times out of 10. He really stunk up the joint in a big way.

Last year WIlson struggled badly in the cold at Minnesota during that playoff game. Same thing this past week in GB. Its going to be very cold this week in Seattle. Could be in the 20s again. Will be curious to see if this possible trend continues.

Anyone got the stones to roll him out tonight?  I just cant do it.   Probably below freezing at kick off, divisional game. Bovada has his O/U props at 255 yds and 1.5 TDs.  I see a low scoring game and Rawls carrying the load.  Interestingly though, the spread is 16.  I know Rams suck, but thats a little higher than i though.

Im rolling with Winston.  Im betting he will be forced to throw to keep up.

I'm playing him, but more out of necessity. Our waiver wire is picked clean and my backup is Stafford and I like his situation even less.  I'm hoping that Wilson will be out to avenge the memory of last week's game and silence the critics.

Well, after last week in GB at least he's seen this type of cold recently.

My only other option is T. Taylor. Better matchup, similar weather, but just feel like Seattle as a whole is going to get well here.

Doing the opposite.  Tentatively rolling Wilson over Winston.  I think Dallas can control the tempo of this game, and Winston seems to be following game scripts much more professionally lately and not slinging it all over the place trying to make unnecessary plays.  It's probably a coin flip to play either.  The thing that worries me with Wilson is him getting benched in the 4th quarter if Seattle goes up big like the game against Carolina.

But then they'll be up big so there's a good chance that Wilson had a decent to good fantasy game.

Rams typically play SEA hard, so I don't think it's going to be a blowout.

I can't understand how so many experts have him ranked top 5. Especially given the history between the two teams. I'm sitting him for either rivers or Flacco. Can't trust him. I am playing Rawles though.

I don't like starting him but don't have much of a choice - It's either him or Eli. I'm hoping he bounces back big tonight.

Sitting him for Carr who I also don't trust. Have a hunch he plays well tonight but I've had that feeling before. Can't get a read on it at all but I'm tired of watching him harassed due to miserable OL play. Hard to say if the Rams play tough or not coming off firing the coach, and gotta think Seattle is stinging after the Packers game. Possibly a Rawls and defense dominated game.

He's had his ups and downs but he came up big the last 2 weeks and getting him off waivers midseason saved me when Stafford start to decline big time as a fantasy producer.

As proved prior he was nothing special in weeks 1, 3, 6 ,11 and 13. But keep acting like you know something.
Doesn't matter what I know. It's what the facts clearly show.

Completion percentage higher at home.

Average yards per attempt higher at home.

Of his 11 INTs, only 3 at home.

Nearly twice as many TDs at home than on the road.

His only rushing TD of the season came at home.

At least 270 yards passing or a TD in every home game including the ones you listed.

These are all facts. If you wish to dismiss them that's up to you. But they clearly and without a shadow of a doubt show how Wilson is a better player at home than on the road. For me, it's simple - you start Russell Wilson at home because he plays better at home. I don't know if you're the person who was arguing with me about whether to start Wilson this week vs. Arizona and I listed all the reasons why he's better at home and why I liked him this week but if you were don't know what to tell you after watching what he did other than to repeat - always start Russell Wilson at home. Always.
