I get it's all doom and gloom but are we sure he's not just cashing checks until a competent coaching staff arrives? Some of the mistakes from last night were things that high school qbs don't make because they were that basic. A player can fall off the cliff physically at any time, but I don't know if I've ever seen a qb forget how to read a defense in an off season.

Not sure what platform he's on, but in Yahoo, you can't drop a guy you started until after Sunday's games. (Other platforms won't even let you drop a guy on your bench if he's already played.)

I suppose you could drop him Monday morning, but you wouldn't be able to pick anyone else up yet until waivers run. That said, I could totally see getting rid of him to remove the stink from your roster

I am done, so done with him. Trevor Lawrence was rated a tad higher this week. I'm thinking of going Goff after his bye week and seeing if I have room for D Watson. I passed on QB's while building RB's and WR's. Ended up with Russ after listening to others thinking target Russ. He's a bust. Now, he will likely have a few good games and he will seek to improve himself. I'm out, soon!

I've expressed my views on Wilson. He is too enamored with the long ball, won't throw over the middle, and doesn't move the chains with his arm. He once moved the chains with his legs, but those days are seemingly gone. Last year Seattle was 32nd in time of possession, a whopping 2 minutes and 4 seconds behind the 31st worst team in time of possession.

Let me redefine my position. Wilson has been great and will continue to be good as a fantasy QB. I think Denver will discover that he is not so great as a real life QB and will rue the contract and the lost draft capital.

The Panthers, Jets, Saints, Falcons and other teams needing a QB are thanking Denver for stepping up to the plate.
