Does having the young duo of someone like Stafford+Johnson change who you might keep?

For example having Calvin and Stafford might make you much more willing to keep Stafford where without Johnson you wouldn't even consider keeping him in a keep 2 or keep 3 player league?

I am digging a combo like this even if it means I have to give up a borderline RB1 or top tier RB2 to do so assuming I can keep the Qb/WR duo long term.

I like the double hookup I guess with the QB+WR combo from the same team.

I have Stafford and Johnson on my team. I can only keep one. I am getting Megatron. But I am shooting for Stafford in round 4. I love the combo. I got Stafford in round 8 last year. He will not fall that far this year. So I think round 4, or 5 or the latest.

Okay so this is a good scenario.What if you could keep 2? Or 3?Would you keep him then? Or would you not keep him and hope that he was there in round 4?I think in a keeper or dynasty league he might go in the first 3 rounds. He is going to have an outstanding career.

Makes little sense to increase the value of a play b/c he is in a 'combo' with another player. Keep your two best players and snag the other pick (here stafford) with a early pick in the next year. With stafford (assuming not a 6 pt qb league) this should take about a 5th rounder next year, though I'm guessing his adp will be 6th-7th rounder.

slightly varies depending on if round drafted affects the pick etc, but all things being equal just maximize your value. Don't get caught up in that the two players are teammates.

first three rounds is usually reserved for rb 1-16 wrs 1-10m tes 1-2 and qbs 1-4. Stafford is good, but not that good yet. Prolly closer to qb 8. i guess depending on how many you keep that might make the rounds less valuable, and thus bump it up t a 3rd 4th. (but that also makes the unnamed stud rb more valuable in the same fashion)
