This is my first year using MFL.com and pretty much everything is customizable, including the trade deadline.

I’ve had a couple of coaches ask about when the trade deadline is and I didn’t set one.

Is there a standard date to use for a trade deadline? Just before the FF playoffs begin? Much sooner than that?

In my dynasty league, our trade deadline is set for this week - meaning that no trades may occur after the start of week 10 games. We felt this was early enough in the season to prevent most teams from intentionally tanking, as it's rare anyone is COMPLETELY out of it this early. Our playoffs start in week 14.

This year we pushed our deadline back to week 12. Basically you can trade until the playoffs begin.

week 11 trade deadline...then reopens again right after the playoffs are over, dynasty league...

Trade Deadline is Kick off of the First game on Week 10.

Ours is NOON on the Sunday of Week 11 -- which is Nov 18th. So teams have 2 more weeks to try and pull off deals for players for the playoff run (we start ours Week 13) or to get picks for next year.

In our redraft league we have the deadline the Fri before Week 11, so it would be Nov 16th at 8 pm

If your playoffs start week 13, I think end of week 11 is a little late in my eyes. I think you need to have it at least 3 weeks before playoffs begin, and even then 1 or maybe 2 teams may already feel out of it and try to swing something.Our deadline is this friday (nov 9). I think right around now is the best time to have it to prevent what I said above.Our WW/FA pool is open til the end too, so I think its hard to argue with this deadline. If you haven't made a move yet, I doubt you will. If you get an injury, you can still pick someone up

11-10 at midnight

right before the plyoffs start the rosters lock and no moves can be made. we did this so it was like submitting a playoff roster

Our league wide deadline was Sunday at 1:00 pm. For the next two weeks the league will be split into trading divisions based on the playoff criteria. You can only trade with team in your trading division. It will change again after this weeks games until the final deadline.
