Question for ESPN Commishs (1 Viewer)

So here's the situation. Earlier in the week, when Collie was declared out for the week, I moved him to the IR slot to free up space for another pickup. Now however, his status has been upgraded to Questionable for next week. However, since he played the Thursday game, he's locked on my roster in the IR slot. This is causing an issue as I try to make another pickup before tomorrow's games though, since I'm being told there is an ineligible player on IR, yet he's locked so I cannot move him off IR to the bench. This doesn't seem right to me. I think his Out status should apply until the week is over, and that I should be able to make another add if needed. I'm still waiting on a response from our commish, but I'm curious if any of you know of a setting that can get around this or if you agree with how the site handles it and that I should essentially have my roster locked right now.

I'm in an ESPN league but not a commish. I agree that it's pretty weak that they're updating statuses before all the week's games are played. Probably a website issue vs commish issue.
