I keep one in the truck and we have a box of them left over from our wedding (it didn't rain) in the garage. I don't use it much, but sometimes a lady friend may need one and WA LA, its there.

i do not own an umbrella brohans but i do own trash bags which are like ponchos that you can also use for garbage so hey that is how we live on this side of the tracks amigos take that to the bank

So I should get wet to convenience others? I can't recall a single issue from my large umbrella such as a confrontation or even so much as someone saying anything or giving me a dirty look

I've rarely seen a confrontation over umbrellas.I've also rarely seen confrontations over the myriad things that people don't do to make the city easier to live in by sharing space... but that doesn't stop these people from being rude and/or thoughtlessly selfish by doing them.

it's a big city with lots of people- you can either choose to do #### that's convenient just for yourself at the expense of others, or take the massive hit and get your feet a little wet.

I'm sorry, I like my feet and pants dry... For all of the inconveniences I have to endure here, this will be the stand I take.

as long you're aware you're being selfish and kind of a ####, good for you. I prefer to get a little wet and do my best not to make the world I occupy worse.

If having a large umbrella makes me a selfish ****, I think I'm okay with that.

I know it's a month later but I also want to make clear that if having a large **** makes me a selfish umbrella, I'm okay with that too.
