Quick question about when college players become eligible (1 Viewer)

I thought the rule was that a athlete has to be two years removed from high school. So for example, Tim Tebow is a sophmore this year. At the end of this season, is he eligible for the draft? Or would he have to return for another year?

Thanks

Colege players become draft eligible 3 years post high school. In most cases, this would mean that the player has to complete a redshirt sophomore year or true junior year before entering the draft. Tebow is a true sophomore, so he has to play another year in college.

Thank you sir.
