With NFL network getting 8 games late in the season, what if I don't have the NFL Network nor do I have a carrier in my area, am I shafted out of seeing my team's game if they are broadcast by the NFL network?

If by "my team," you mean your local team, then no you aren't left out. If a game is to be broadcast on the NFL Network, everyone who has the NFL Network and everyone in either of the team's markets will see the game.

Relax.Call your cable company and tell them that you want the NFL Network added.

They will get plenty of calls and be forced to add it to your lineup.

This is a common ploy by cable channels to increase marketshare. ESPN2 did this and so did FX with baseball and NASCAR.

Odds are they will have NFL Network by the fall.

Also - local channels often simulcast local teams that appear on ESPN on ABC.That may also be the case in your area if your team is in one of the eight games.

Maybe NFL COM will streamline it to help you guys without NFL Network.

I suggest e-mailing NFL COM. also if you don't have it on your cable package and request them to streamlimne it over the computer.

Sportsline streamlined all of NCAA games and it was nice. Major league baseball streamlines all games all year for just 79 bucks. Streamlineing is becoming a big thing for all of sports and I personally really enjoy it.

plus its much much cheaper then buying a cable package if you want to view all the games each day/night live!
