Quick Route WRs vs NYJ (1 Viewer)

Looking at the WRs that have done damage against the NYJ D...Boldin 7-110, Welker 6-38 TD, Bess 6-86, Nelson 4-75, Harvin 5-97 2TD. I'm guessing Royal will be the DEN WR with the numbers this week. He is the short route guy and that seems to be the type of WR that can get good stats vs NYJ D.

FYI Revis looks very iffy this week and with the bye next week, it looks like he sits.

although Revis hasn't been Revis all year - thanks for holding out guy.

If Revis plays I'd rate their WR's next week in this order: Royal, Lloyd, Gaffney. I rate them this way as I think if Revis plays they might put him on Gaffney and use Cro to defend the deep bombs to Lloyd. Either way Gaffney and Lloyd would have two top flight CB's so I'd think Royal is in line for a good game.

If Revis does not play I'd rank them: Gaffney, Royal, Lloyd.

A lot of the guys you posted did well when the weren't running short routes or slot routes. Denver is a crap shoot because any receiver can have a big week depends on which receiver defenses are keying in on more.

FWIW, Revis usually takes the deep threat. Last few weeks that has been Lloyd. I feel like Lloyd would be atop that list if Revis doesn't play. Then again, he wasn't very effective last night even while playing.

Its hard to bench any of them right now. Orton is on fire, and they have no running game. I don't really see how anybody could bench Lloyd at this point, and he'll probably draw Cromartie. Revis looked a bit hobbled to me last night too. I don't think Harvin goes off for nearly 100 and 2TDs vs a healthy Revis anyway. My guess is Demaryius will be out, so Revis will cover both Gaffney and Royal at times.

Lloyd is 5th in the league with 10.8 targets/game and 2nd in fantasy scoring.

Gaffney is 13th with 9.0 targets/game and 31st in scoring.

Royal is 26th with 7.4 targets/game and 23rd in scoring.

If Thomas is indeed out, he's taken 21 targets so far. Those 4.5 targets/game most likely get split between these three.

In a start 3 WR league they are all starters at this point, even vs the Jets.

Last year before the they got Cromartie for sure but based on the limited amount of games we've seen from the two not sure we can say that is always the case now and certainly not while Revis is hobbled. In week one Revis took Boldin who is the best WR on that team but they lack a deep option. In week 2 Revis started on Moss, got hobbled, and they switched to Cro. Than last night it was Cro on the deep option Moss again. My guess is when healthy Revis takes the best WR on a team but that does not always mean the deep option. When hobbled I think it's based on matchups. Cro's size makes him an ideal person to cover Lloyd is showing some Moss like skills in terms of going up and getting the ball.

You have a good point actually, considering the small sample size of Revis this year. That being said, I have no problem starting Lloyd even if I knew Cromartie would be covering him all game. Cromartie isn't a top CB anymore. Marshall exploded against him in week 3, and last night both Harvin and Moss had decent games.http://www.fftoday.com/stats/fantasystats....&LeagueID=1

Yes I'd start Lloyd not matter who is covering him. Revis playing status impacts how viable I view Gaffney and to a lesser extent Royal.

Nice analysis.
