Raider Defense (1 Viewer)

I have a really important divisional game this week and I am looking for points anywhere I can get them. We also get points for kick and punt return yards so based on that my two defenses right now are Buffalo and Cleveland, who are in the top 5 of each category. Both of these defenses have tough matchups vs. SD and K.C. I was thinking about going with Oakland vs. Houston at home. Is anyone else considering this move?

Aside from the SD opener, Raider de at home performs VERY well. I may do similarly and not play Baltimore.
I'm in the same boat as you...I think if it's pouring at gametime I'm riding with BAL, otherwise I'll switch to OAK.
I'm playing OAK over MIA. I'm just saying, benching BAL is a bold move. I like OAK though, so if you have that feeling go with it.

I have Washington and Philly and I think I may pick up Oakland this week. Washington is terrible and Philly is OK but not great.

Oakland has played well and have a great match up.

I'm playing Oakland over San Diego and Carolina in two leagues this week but I'm not sold on my decisions. San Diego could come up big with Merriman back. I just think Oakland is the surest sub elite pick this week. Dont bench an elite defense like Chicago or Baltimore. That's like benching LT or LJ.

Not exactly- defenses are more positively/negatively affected by the matchup than RBs. RB success is more related to the performance of the O-line.We also gain/lose points for opposing points scored and yds gained. So OAK/HOU which is less likely of being a shootout, would likely be better than BAL giving up 21 pts and 400 yds. But wet field and rain = more turnovers which would make me more comfortable with going with BAL on the road.
