*Raiders at Broncos +2.5(50.5)* (1 Viewer)

Wow. This is a lonely thread. Ruggs III just got trucked and knocked out of the game with a big hit on a reverse.

Whoops.

Raiders just marching down the field like there's no opposition. Carr looks good right now.  On the eight with a minute left.

Raiders with no timeouts, milling about in the huddle looking confused, and Fangio calls TO. :lmao:

They're going for two and to win it. Ballsy.

And Gruden tries to outdo Fangio by going with three TEs and then going empty!

These guys want to lose this game!

But Waller makes the catch!

32-31 and McManus can hit sixty-five yarders from practice.

For those counting, that's two times the play clock was running down on the Raiders and Fangio called a time out each ####### time.

:lmao:

That's actually a horse#### call, I never heard a whistle and no ref was getting in there to try to get it spotted.

What did the Raiders go this year, 9-7? No, they went 8-8.

Fully ensconced in mediocrity. Hey, could be worse.

That's a tank for the draft position right there.  No reason to kick it with 9 seconds, go try to get 5 more yards first.

You gotta go try to get another 8 yards.  Hell Trayvon Mullen would probably give you a PI call and stop the clock for you.
Oh, I agree you run a sideline out or something. But Fangio probably watched how close the rush got to Lock and figured "What the hell? 63 is doable." Fangio isn't exactly the sharpest time out user. He would have had two if he didn't blow them on defense, both of which helped a disorganized Raider offense with no timeouts.

Wrong.

Fangio has displayed Vance Joseph level inability to manage a clock from day one.  His decisions before the end of halves are even debatable bad.  You could write a book on how to blow games, and all examples could come from one Fangio season.  Seriously, one could detail the ineptitude and you wouldn't believe it happened.  At least not in the NFL anyway.
