FYI, weather in Charlotte may impact both Car and Cin passing games today. Raining hard, could total 2-4 inches.

Note, the 2-4 inches is predicted for the next 48 hours. A quarter to half an inch is predicted from now till sunset. Intermittent rain, occasionally heavy, but not a monsoon (ie KC vs SD first week).

Ya its lightly raining and expected to continue. Not a big deal but yet another strike against Steve Smith. So he'll probably go off today...

since both passing games stink already , its a nobrainer to sit all members of the passing game from both teams . . .

Rain helps the passing game...it doesn't hurt it...
 Rain is the worst element of all to play in. Ask any former player..
A light rain that leads to a slick field may help the passing game - much easier for a receiver to plant and cut when they know what direction they will go, as opposed to the defensive back reacting. Same holds true if there is a downpour and then clears up - advantage receiver, big time. However, if you are talking prolonged hard rain, ESPECIALLY if there is some wind, it hurts far more than it helps.
