Rams close to signing Chris Long? Camp photos incl. (1 Viewer)

"According to Bernie M and Randy Karriker of Team 1380's "The Roll Home" the Rams are close to signing 1st round pick Chris Long to a 6 year contract with 27 million dollars in guaranteed money. All that is left is the dotting of some "I's" and crossing of some "T's". The Rams believe the deal will be signed by Long be the end of this weekends mini-camp."

Someone needs to inform whomever put the photos up that Jacob Bell was a big money free agent signing from the Titans, not an "undrafted free agent".I remember Long saying that he's definitely not going to be a camp holdout and would do whatever it took to get signed early.

Someone needs to inform whomever put the photos up that Jacob Bell was a big money free agent signing from the Titans, not an "undrafted free agent".I remember Long saying that he's definitely not going to be a camp holdout and would do whatever it took to get signed early.

Something else the Rams did right. Not mislabeling the picture, signing O-Line help. The game is won and lost at the line of scrimmage. The Rams got routed on both sides of the LOS last year. If it weren't for a brutal early schedule I would've thought the Rams had a chance to really turn things around this year. But they could easily go 2-6 for the first half of the season. Too bad for Linehan. I'm guessing he gets canned during the season and the 2009 HC will have a nice squad on his hands...

I think Chris Long is a lock for a Pro Bowler. If someone told me to pick 1 guy from this draft who would make a Pro Bowl and I would get 1 million dollars, I'd pick Chris Long. I think in 2 to 3 years and beyond this guy is just going to be great.
