For the Tri guys,
I went and looked at bikes at the local bike store in town. They have only one that fits me 56cm. It's from the 70/80's. They put new cables, tape, newer tires, etc. It's only $125, then I will have to buy shorts/helmet/etc. I don't want to spend a ton....b/c who knows if I would like it. But I want to make sure I can log some miles and enough to keep my legs healthy and uninjured.
What do yall think?

post race, back at the hotel, which meant I lost about 8 pounds or more during the tri. I've roared back to 156 with plenty of beer & a 1/2 pound burger with blue cheese & bacon the night of the race.
FUBAR - some time back we were talking about getting together for a relay. The Bourbon Chase ended up being a pretty good location and timing for a number of the guys, so we agreed to shoot for it in 2011. Wraith's mom lives near Lexington, so we can probably use that as our base (btw, Wraith, did you discuss that with her when you were down there recently??). As you've seen, a couple of the lightweights are already claiming dibs on the flat running segments.

I took tris up less than two years ago (and I am a short, middle aged, potentially fairy costume wearing bald-guy).eta, Oops, 2 years ago, time flies (and the memory fades at this age).
