Careful now  :oldunsure:

I think Joe is about done with the childish behavior on the boards that has ratcheted up with everyone having more time on their hands. It's gone from hey tone it down to 2 weeks off, move to the next one, 2 weeks off, lather, rinse, repeat. Shame but I get it.

I'm guessing it's @tri-man 47's first time out so much like the valedictorian that gets the 3 day suspension for doing something stupid that is out of character, he can proudly wear the badge now with the rest of us miscreants
I can't speak to the specifics of the incident as I stay out of that place.

What kind of lunatic comes to a Fantasy Football message board for political discussion? I use it only the way it's intended - a decades-long ongoing conversation with Internet strangers about running.

Listen to PT while recovering, but I beg of you to start doing these (and upper body exercises) to minimize the probability of this or something else happening again. I'm sure saying this makes you want to reach through your device and slap me, but 5-10 less miles per week and replaced with strength training will do future Big Z better. Volume may be king, but it doesn't matter if you're not healthy.
I started weights up north pre-move, but when I relocated to DFW, the weights didn't come with me.  I just had some delivered in my southern home last week, and plan to put them to use.

I've also looked up some gluteus medius strength exercises and plan on doing those, too.

I still have a pushup goal for 2020 and daylight is burning.

Will try to get all of it into the mix next week.  This weekend, it's back to the trails.

Im really surprised and disappointed that folks take the innerwebs serious enough to get TOs here.
I'm actually more surprised that people report threads. Seems to me that's what leads to the bannings. Never used to be that way years ago.  People used to have much thicker skins.

I got 30 days for the joke I made in the thread where we were concerned about Duck.

Bad omen #31:

Whilst driving to your “race” you are stopped at the railroad tracks for a train. Said train stops 30 some cars in and is just sitting there. Not.  Moving.

i need help with a corn/bunion type deal.

it's on the furthest point, of the outside, of the meta tarsals of my right foot.   that foot is wider than the left.  it's border line E.  i've never had issues before,  it developed about a year ago, when i bought new work shoes and new, different, workout shoe the same week.  i took those back, once the corn developed, and got a wide version  of my usual shoe.  this helped.  for a while.

i now have a new/different work shoe.  hoka one one, biondi, wide.  comfortable, but odd. they are a ridiculously high shoe. they've created some new hot spots in my feet.  and i think they are exacerbating the corn.  i am on my feet 7-9 hours at work.  usually put in 5-9 miles and often climb 50-80 flights of stairs.

i've gotta get a handle on this damn corn.  ####### thing hurts like a mofo.

6.5miles in, slow pace of 1h15. Feeling good enough.

Didnt make it 1 mile in without a bear attack. Again, at 6.5miles I just unloaded. Thank goodness there is a porta here at the end of the trail.

See ya back at the car. That will be the tell tale of should I stay or should I go.

Only rational solution is to cut off the foot and hope it regenerates.

I'm not sure I know what all of this translates to but I'm going to assume that you just took a massive dump. Does a bear #### in the woods?

Bear attack

13.5mi 2h35 feeling good enough.

Back at the car, finished the northern half. A decent amount sore but stopped and picked up a half Pb and j and a banana. Filled up the waters and will walk while I eat.

HR has been good at under 140, will try o keep that going.

No more bear attacks yet, plenty of time left

Just like the Olympic one, this one isn’t going to complete. Mile 21 legs are really unhappy. Walking at the moment. I’ll be getting back to the car at approx 23mi and will be calling it a day. No reason to push the body.

Next time!

Did you quarantine after crossing state lines?

Sorry to hear about the legs but bravo on the effort! Enjoy that beer you've earned!
