Randolph fired, Manuel to take over (1 Viewer)

Would it be possible for Minaya to have handled this any worse? The first time I had sex wasn't botched this badly.

it's hard to get more awful than pronouncing a coach's status as "day-to-day". i've always thought of minaya as a solid GM, but solid GM's don't handle things like this.

Well that ends Willie and Peterson.

I really don't like the direction were heading into.

I hope it works out but, I think those 2 guys were more a part of the solution rather than the problem.

I hope I am wrong but we'll see...

Underachieving players can be a factor of bad/non coaching but we will see if this "shakes things up" to a winner.

So they wait until the team wins 3 of 4? :goodposting:

I didn't click on the link, but if it is not mentioned there, Minaya's press conference is at 5pm eastern.

They wait until:

1) The team wins 3 of 4

2) Willie flies oout to Cali

3) After a team win

4) At 3 AM eastern time

I agree with Cappy.

"Die-hard Mets fan Martin Silver cried foul Wednesday over the team's way-past-midnight massacre of manager Willie Randolph.

The season ticket holder sent by FedEx five whole chickens to the Amazin's owner Fred Wilpon to dramatize his displeasure over the classless firing.

"They are chickens for doing this, the way they did it," Martin said. "I decided sending chickens was the best thing."
