Ariz - Wash
With LB Dansby out and S Wilson dinged I look for the Skins to go with a big rushing attack. Once Dansby and Wilson left the game last week, things really opened up with long pass plays to Smith and long Williams runs. I think Portis will have his best game of the year, I'd start him with confidence. Cooley should also have a nice day with those defenders out or hampered. I don't see Warner playing, and if he does, it won't be for long. Ariz will also try to run the ball with their QB situation. Washington has done a great job shutting down the passing game. I haven't heard CB Springs status, his presence plays a role in the success of the Ariz passing attack. As a Fitz owner I don't like the return of Boldin or the QB situation. Boldin was and will outproduce Fitz when both are on the field.
Portis, A game: 110 yds rushing, 20 yds rec, 2 tds
Cooley, B+ game: 70 yds rec, 0.5 tds
Edge, B game: 70 yds rush, 15 yds rec, 1.2 tds
Fitz, C-: 50 yds rec, 0.2 tds
Boldin, B: 60 yds rec, 0.7tds
I think the Washington D puts the clamps on the Ari O holding them to just over 220 yds total offense. Campbell will have an efficient game but as usual not a great fantasy game.
Balt - Buff
The Ravens O is better with Boller. You have to knock Mason down a notch but the rest of the O gets an upgrade. QSupniski (no I don't know how to spell it and am too lazy to look it up) will be a nice bye week filler if you need a TE. The Ravens D is going to get burned a couple of times deep on pass plays and shut down the rushing attack of Buff. (I'm not sure who the hot rec is for Buff but with McAllister out someone is going to break a couple of long ones). I like McGahee this week for 100+yds and another TD. Like most Balt games, this is going to be boring one to watch. News flash, if you have Stover or the Ravens D start 'em. Looking for Baltimore to win 27 - 14.
McGahee, B+: 110 yds rush, 8 rec, 1.8 TDs
Ravens D/ST A: 5 sacks, 3 int, 290 yds (passing game), 1 punt/ko return for a td, 1.8 total TDs
NE - Mia
Start Brady and the NE D. As painful as it is Maroney will sit on my bench again until I see him in a game. If he plays he'll probably block-be a decoy more than rush the ball. Or he'll go off and completely p***-me-off. He sits on bench until I see him produce. Evans will probably be the guy with the most FF points this week but I don't have the roster space. Unless BB wants Brady to break records this year, I say this game will be a little dissappointing. Look for relatively low scoring affair with NE running the ball with the committee. Mia will attempt to run, run and run again.
That's all I have time for today, gotta check Maroney's status...
