Titans caterer able to please Moss

The Tennessee Titans food caterer has apparently passed its first tests with wide receiver/would-be food critic Randy Moss.

McConnell's Catering, which has provided food for the Titans for years, said it has had no problems whatsoever since Moss' arrival at Baptist Sports Park on Monday.

“I saw him the other day and he seemed like a really nice guy,” McConnell's owner Charlie McConnell told TitanInsider.com.

Moss had criticized the buffet from a restaurant called Tinucci's in Minnesota and reportedly had an outburst, saying he would feed it to his dog.

On Wednesday, the lunch menu entrees at Baptist Sports Park consisted of a sauteed butterfly chicken breast and tenderloin tips with gravy. Meal options also included zucchini, as well a broccoli, pepper and green bean vegetable medley, plus a full salad and fruit bar.

“We've had no problems whatsoever thus far,” McConnell's executive chef David Vaughan said. “We've not had any complaints whatsoever from players since I've been here, and I've been here for several years.”
just reporting the news.

Pretty sure the Tinucci's story was over exaggerated. Moss has been in the NFL for how long, and suddenly after he gets waived by a team that traded a third rounder for him it comes out that he blows up about food served at the teams facility? Yeah, that's believable.

Nutrition is important

I think that if Moss (or any other player) had an outburst like what was reported in Minny, Dinger would beat the offending player with his own bare hands until the issue were "resolved."

nice to take focus away from football. titans prob need some time for Moss + them to concentrate.

They have better food in Tennessee than in Minnesota? This does not surprise me.
