I forsee the Pats really go into a shell offensively and play to hold onto the football, especially early on until they see how things work out. Lots of runs, short passes, and safe screens. The occasional deep ball, but I doubt they will have him throwing into traffic very often.Moss caught 3 balls for 66 yards and a TD (with 51 coming on one play). Moss had 3 receptions for 50 yards in 7 minutes with Brady. When Brady replaced Bledsoe 7 years ago, he only put up 2800 yards and 18 TD. Certainly this Pats offense is more potent than that one, but I would guess Cassell (if he stays the starter all season) would be in the 3000-3200 range with 18-20 TD.Given that, I don't see how Moss doesn't take a big hit.If Cassell DOES do way better than that, the talk of the Pats being in dire straits are going to prove to be way overblown.
