lot of irony right here.Stop talkinging like you actually know what Randy Moss wants. At this point, winning is slightly more important to him than $$$. NE will definitely get a deal with Moss when he re-signs.

I think you are way off base here. WAY off base and I'm sick of people trying to get others banned for voicing their opinions. I have been the most insulted person in this thread. If you disagree with my opinion, please don't come into this thread. We're here to discuss Randy Moss' future, or lackthereof, with the Patriots*. I don't think he'll be there beyond this year, and yes I lost all respect for the Patriots* when they were found guilty of cheating. There, I have laid my cards on the table. I would appreciate you stop trying to throw mud at me and bringing mods into something that happens to be a topic that brings sadness to your heart. For good measure, I have reported your post and told the mods you should be more judicous when suggesting someone get banned from this site. Maybe you need a break.Dman30, your trolling is pathetic, please stop.Mods, I think this is deserving of at least a kick for a few days.
Have you ever kissed a girl? When Moss goes for 1800+ yards and 20+ TD's he knows he'll be in position to become one of the highest paid players in the NFL. A player of that caliber won't take a paycut. And New England Patriots* won't invest that kind of money on a 30+ year-old WR one year removed from a bad rep and nagging injuries. As soon as you Patriots* fans realize that the only people who take paycuts to play for your cheating team are over-the-hill players desperate for a job (Seau, Bruschi, Harrison) and players trying to shake bad reputations (Dillon, Moss) the better off you'll be.He may want more money and leave but if he enjoys winning he will likely take less money than market value and stay.
Fair warning. enough is enough.Stop talkinging like you actually know what Randy Moss wants. Fact is he'd probably run you over if he saw you walking down the side walk.At this point, winning is slightly more important to him than $$$. NE will definitely get a deal with Moss when he re-signs.

You’re being insulted because you’re acting like a bore. To argue that RM may or may not be back with the Pats is a legit topic of conversation. You have went so far beyond even attempting to make that argument, instead you yourself have baited and made every attempt to draw out profane comments from people who recognize your ploy to instead parlay the RM topic into another "I HATE THE PATS THREAD". Either refrain from being a donkey’s rear end when you post or take the heat. I have received suspensions numerous times for far less than half of the BS you have stirred up on this thread. I for one don’t think you should be banned or suspended or any other nonsense. I don’t mind the back and forth and I sure have a lot thicker skin than most of the staff here at FBG. It would be wiser instead to keep on topic. Will Randy be a Pat next year or not, will Randy's possible departure have an adverse effect or not.I think you are way off base here. Three things. #1, I don't disagree that I think it's humorous that fans like us sometimes feel we have the insight into exactly what players are thinking. We may think we do, but we don't.#2. You're doing the same thing suggesting it's a fact that he'd run over the guy.#3. Please don't do that. Please keep this to a good discussion. and on the other hand, I have a hard time believing that Randy will go to another orginization after this season. He's seen it and lived it. He can't put up outstanding stats playing with just any organization. He can't cap his career off the way he would like if he was playing on a mid level team. I am going to venture a guess and say that after he has taste of winning, performing and contending (again), he is going to ride that horse as long as he can. He's stated that he wants to play with Brady and if he is as "smart" as they say he is, he'll play with the team that contributes to his performance and stats. He's already realized that he can't do it all himself. He needs someone to get him the ball.Brutis said:The pats are one of the smartest organizations in football. I have a hard time believing they are gonna let Randy walk after the year he has had. I dont see it.
I agree. Randy leaving NE is a move that doesnt benefit him or the Pats. I think this is a case of the media and fantasy geeks trying to create a story that isnt there.and on the other hand, I have a hard time believing that Randy will go to another orginization after this season. I think its ridiculous that I provided the following link, with the following quote, and yet it still was assumed that I was speaking for Moss. And I hope he's been dealt with appropriately because he's just not bringing anything positive to your fine board. Whatsoever. From the HORSE'S MOUTH - let's try this again.Joe Bryant said:Three things. #1, I don't disagree that I think it's humorous that fans like us sometimes feel we have the insight into exactly what players are thinking. While I'm as optimistic as the next guy that Moss stays with NE, saying there is zero chance that Moss leaves when a long term contract needs to get done is silly, IMO.Hey Dman et al...Adam Schefter, who is as wired into the NFL as any single writer out there, appeared on WEEI in Boston to say very clearly that "There is basically zero chance Randy Moss will not be back with NE for the long term". Moss loves the area, the team, the organization and is happier than he's ever been playing football.

Thank you Joe Bryant for looking into the matter. I too think it's humorous that Twitch seems to think he has insight into what Randy Moss wants when he's merely a fan. "I think over the course of my career, Ive made alot of money. I still have money in the bank. By me coming to an organization such as the New England Patriots, why would money be a factor?" -Randy Moss
The dude repeatedly posts actual quotes from Moss and you continue to hammer him for putting his own insight into Moss' mind, after you did it yourself and got nailed on 2 of Joe's points. You're simply clueless, which seems to be the consensus of most of the repliers. I agree with twitch that you bring absolutely nothing to this board.Thank you Joe Bryant for looking into the matter. Moss wanted to be drafted by Dallas when he left Marshall. Dallas met with Moss and Jerry Jones gave him a favorable nod. When Dallas passed on him in the draft word was that Moss was dissapointed and vowed to torch Dallas every time he ever played them. Imagine now if Dallas were to go after him in free agency and put that star on his helmet. Owens, Moss, Witten.I don't know what Randy Moss thinks or what the Patriots think but at some point,IMO, both sides have to think that they have a very good thing going. In Moss' case, he has to look at where he can go and have the kind of success both personally and team wise and balance that out against a big payday. And the Patriots have to ask can they have similar success without Moss and, if not, how much is it worth to keep him.
save those tissues for the opponents. we both know he's not going anywhere.I see no reason why moss would leave, or why the pats would let him.however, downside is that the pats are left w/welker, stallworth, and a top 5 pick, which is plenty enough to win another superbowl.as much as I like randy on the pats, and as much ### as he kicked in that indy game, I wouldn't cry if he left.
The only way I think both sides would entertain him leaving is if they win the Super Bowl.save those tissues for the opponents. we both know he's not going anywhere.I see no reason why moss would leave, or why the pats would let him.however, downside is that the pats are left w/welker, stallworth, and a top 5 pick, which is plenty enough to win another superbowl.as much as I like randy on the pats, and as much ### as he kicked in that indy game, I wouldn't cry if he left.
He has shown no sign of taking any plays off at all. Him and Brady seem to be getting along great with Brady saying things like he has one of the greatest football minds of anyone he has played with. Mix that in with a little dash of him wanting to show everyone that it was Oakland that was the problem and not him, I don't see him taking any plays off anytime soon.Randy Moss is an aging malcontent and will never fit in well with the system in New England. Can't wait to see Brady's reaction after he dogs a couple plays. He is going to tear that team apart.
