We all know Moss takes plays off but I can see him giving 110% this game to try and stick to the Pats. Thoughts?

The Minny QB situation is obviously a wildcard too.

Not sure what to expect of Randy anymore. He seems to be more of a decoy now, although he is good for a TD.

I hope he plays hard and shows them what they traded away though.

I'm still trying to sell the guy at this point.

 
I expect that the Pats D will know exactly what to expect from him. Adjust your expectations accordingly.

 
If this isn't his breakout 100 yard game, then that game isn't coming.

I'm starting him with no confidence, but I assume I'll get another 3-45-1 and that's not why i drafted him

 
Bad NE secondary; the fact that NE will score a ton on that Minny secondary and the extra motivation for Moss makes this a must start. Independant of who starts at QB for the Queens.

 
Moss is a guy whose biggest problem through the years has been motivation. Against the Pats he'll have plenty of it.

I figured he would be motivated this season to go tear it up and get one more big contract from a sucker team and then totally bomb.

He had it against Dallas and Green Bay too and didn't put up big numbers. Not saying it can't happen but unless the Vikings start targeting him more often downfield (regardless of who the QB is), we may not see that big Randy Moss game he typically delivers a healthy amount of each season.
 
I expect that the Pats D will know exactly what to expect from him. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
+1 I usually play the "revenge" card and bump a player up a little because of it. In this case, I am bumping Moss down a bit because:

[*]the Patriots know Moss very well

[*]BB is a nmoted defensive schemer (feeds off of first point)

[*]qb situation in Minnesota has me nervous

As much as I would like to start him, in a standard/ppr league, I have benched him for Pierre Garcon and Mike Williams (Sea) (ie, I had to pick 2 of these 3 and Moss is the one sitting).

Edit: Slightly off topic, but like Dr. No. I think Randy is done as #1. I have offered him packaged with Braylon Edwards for Brandon Marshall and am expecting to have the offer declined.

Just get me a TD every other week and all will be good
honestly that's not going to cut it for me, I need 2 consecutive 100+ yard games with 2 TD's so i can trade him.he's through being a #1 WR... although i thought that about TO and that dude is playing well.first 5 picks of the draft - moss, mathews, best, welker, bradshaw - i thought i crushed it... and i'm the one getting crushed.

Well sure, I know that.... but if it were THAT simple, any of us could coach defense in the NFL. Perhaps you can, I know I could not. I stand by my comment.
