Randy Moss week 11 (1 Viewer)

This season is like some sick joke on Moss owners.
 It's going to get real sick for me cuz I'm dropping his sorry a** this week which means he'll probably go 10-200-3 on the Texans next week.
I was going to drop him too but instead i'm gonna keep starting him based on my "can't get any worse theory".
That's what I thought after last week.It got worse.I'm just done with the guy. Like I said, he'll probably go apes**t against the Texans but I can't take this anymore. I kept him one week too long and I'm upset at myself for not dropping him like I planned. I surrender. He wins. I lose. I'll find another WR who at least might not drive me absolutely batty.

traded for him midseason after minnesota.

if he doesn't get it done against my texans this week i don't expect anything else the rest of the year.

I think its just a sick joke for one of my teams. Drafted Moss, Marshall, PT, and Beanie. Somehow I've won 6 games. But I'm not optimistic about the rest of my season.

Shocked that no one has said what I think the thing to do is:Drop his ###, right before the game. Make some other sucker waste blind bid or waiver wire position on him. Then watch him flounder on their roster. Drop him and laugh while someone else suffers. It's the right thing to do.
Sadly, this would have been sage advice 11 weeks ago...
...and it's still the right answer. :DShall we talk about what to expect week 12 then?

I expect he will be seatbelted at the very end of my bench.

will give him a shot v. that Texans secondary...if he doesn't perform then, Randy is dead to me.

This weekends performance doesn't make me feel better but I think I have to roll with him. My WR3's have taken a huge fall over the last few weeks (Moss, Garcon, Smith CAR = ouch!)

At least Rusty was looking for him, and he did catch a pass in the end zone that was called back for offensive pass interference (on Moss)

For sure he has been frustrating, and hasn't performed anywhere even close to his ADP, but unless your in a small league or have small benches, it's not like you can drop him for Jacoby Jones or MoMass.

Burleson, James Jones, Sidney Rice, Breaston and Brandon Gibson are all available in my league. They are all on my blind bid list this week for Moss. Beanie Wells is out there too and he'll go on it. I can't take it anymore. He has single-handedly killed my season. The old adage is true that you can't win a title in the first round but you sure can lose it there. Moss is easily the worst first-round pick I've ever made in fantasy football.

There are conservatively 40 receivers I would start ahead of Moss. How can he even be considered startable. He is barely rosterable.

Anybody care to venture a guess what this week will bear for Moss owners? I had planned to give it another week before starting him again but now with Tampa Mike's problems I'm giving him a second thought. Anybody plan to start him? or are you sitting him? for who? What are you expecting this week out of Randy Moss?
It looks like all of us moss owners are screwed and shouldn't expect anything but a big fat 0

How many targets down field did he get yesterday?Somebody offered me Thomas Jones for him and I'm considering it.
I didn't see the game... I'm guessing 1?I'd hop on that trade now before he changes his mind.I traded Moss for Bush last week and I feel so relieved right now.

Nobody thinks that a rookie QB starting may just heave it to Moss for lack of any other knowledge?

Anything's possible but Moss has now played for five different QBs on three different teams and the one common denominator is all of them stopped throwing him the ball at some point. The Titans never started but the point still stands. Moss has now proven he can't even get it done against putrid pass defenses. Yesterday was the last shred of confidence I had. Maybe he'll beat up on the Texans. Everybody else has. But the Redskins are horrible in terms of pass defense and he got shut out. Moss has now proven he can fail while playing with an elite QB, on a team that badly needed him and against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. That's three strikes and he's out for me.

This list is getting comical. I wonder if Sidney Rice and Vincent Jackson will be able to pass his season's work in the next few games.

He has the same number of receptions in his last three games as Jordan Shipley and Brian Hartline had in Week 11.He has fewer receptions in his last three games than Deion Branch had in Week 11.

He has fewer TDs in his last five games than David Gettis.

It's absurd the level of awfulness he has sunk to.

Even in Marvin Harrison's final season when it was clear he had reached the end of the line he never had 0 receptions in a game. Moss has now done that twice.

I can't believe anyone thought Moss would be this bad this season.

Q: So what do you expect from Moss for week 12?

A: I expect Moss will either be on my bench or on the waiver wire.

Draft time? No. After the Minny trade? :lmao:

You predicted at either of those times that Moss was going to regularly be posting games of 0 and 1 receptions? If so, props to you.I didn't like the move to Tennessee at all for Moss. I thought it was a very bad fit. But I didn't expect him to catch 1 pass in two games and have no involvement whatsoever in the passing game initially. I thought for sure the Titans would at least make an attempt to get him the ball but that hasn't happened.

Totally torn between him and Steve Johnson as my WR3 this week. I have Johnson in right now, but I've flip flopped like 5 times. I'm a Skins far, and we cannot stop the pass, and our 2ndary is banged up to boot. That said, maybe Fisher just has them run all over us.Still not sure what to do...
I went with Moss over Johnson because of the injuries to the Skins secondary.Right now I feel like such a turd.
Same here, BUT thankfully the rest of my team carried me to a crucial win ... Moss will be riding the pine the rest of the year for me, now watch as he explodes this weekend ...

AMEN. I did this with Torain and picked up Keiland. The owner who got in waivers played him last week when he was supposed to start and got a 0.

:lmao: @ packersfan, always changing his tune...

I expect the Titans, like the Vikings, to get the ball to Moss a lot tomorrow to justify the decision to claim him.
 He should stand by his original prediction instead realizing his mistake?
Ignore him. The guy trolls this board following me around. He's been doing it for years and I think the only person who thinks he's being clever is himself. He has some sick obsession with my posts and the mods have warned him several times for trolling my posts but I think even they are tired of how childish he behaves.I've already said that I was wrong about how the Titans would use Moss initially. I realize that it was a really crazy idea that perhaps the Titans would want to involve Randy Moss in the passing game. So I was really going way out there on a limb in thinking that. But in any event, I was wrong and have clearly admitted it. Not sure what else I can say.

... Not sure what else I can say...
You can say that you are not alone.
I think every Moss owner realizes how wrong we all were. I've never had a player bust like this before. Like I posted before, the level of pathetic production has reached an absurd level. You have No. 4 WRs who at least can catch a pass or two every week but Randy Moss, a guy who at one time possessed Hall of Fame talent, can't even catch one? It's really unbelievable.
