Exercises:

#1 - Rank going forward --- Cain, Billingsley, Kershaw, Beckett, Lackey, Zambrano

#2 - I'm trying to shop around Jose Reyes and a lessor arm (like Duke/Braden/Pineiro) to teams in need of an upgrade at SS for one of these guys. I'm in need of a power arm in a points league and have survived somewhat without Reyes this long (I'm in line right now for the final playoff seed with some teams breathing down my neck). Any of these arms not worth it in your opinion? I have a feeling two are not.

#3 - Am I not offering enough? My other arms are Nolasco, Blanton, Gallardo and Vazquez. I'm hoping the lure of Reyes coming back soon will allow me to keep these four. Otherwise, I'm not sure it's even worth it.

I totally don't buy Cain right now. His numbers look great, but he is a sell high guy in my eyes not a buy.I like Beckett, Billingsley, Lackey, Kershaw, Cain, Zambrano. You could probably make a case for Lackey ahead of Billingsley as well.

I agree somewhat about Cain, but if we're not talking about a total collapse, would you not aquire him for Reyes right now? Reyes is anything but a sure thing for Aug/Sept. I don't even think Cain owners would do that, whether they need a SS or not.

Sure I suppose. It would be like gambling that's all. Cain is a high risk buy because I don't think you will get more than about 70% of his first half, if that, and A lot of Reyes' value is tied to his legs and a bad hammy doesn't make me warm and fuzzy there.
