so mcgahee is going to increase his productivity by 50 percent? from 1100 to 1700?

i don't see the love for this guy. i don't think he's ever come back fully from the injury and i don't think he will.

i traded him last year for anquan boldin. and i'm still happy about it.

and he doesn't get to play the jets twice a year any more. 5 career 100-yard rushing games against the jets.

McGahee's 2007 opponents:

HOME

CLEVELAND

CINCINATTI

Pittsburgh

New England

JETS

ST. LOUIS

ARIZONA

another AFC South opponent

6 of those games he should do very well (CAPS means good match-up)

ROAD

CLEVE

CINCI

BUFFALO

Miami

San Fran (improved DEF)

SEATTLE

AFC West opponent

Looks like Willis will have a good-great year.

I know this is not a great indicator to project with....but there some obvious soft run defences in there.

Is there a reason why Benson was omitted from this discussion? :goodposting:

Granted, he isn't with a new team, but he does have a new role.

I think you answered your own question...new role, yes, but he should know the system after being on the team for two years.Henry - Broncos is a RBs dream line to run behind

Jones - underated IMO

McGahee - better team should do better if can stay healthy

Green - can he stay healthy?

Lewis - it is still the Browns

Droughns - yardage, but BJ goal line package

Bell - not sure of KJ situation

Rhodes - Jordan still the starter?

Henry- Den 1500 ty

McGahee- Balt 1400 ty

Green- Hou 1400 ty

Jones- NY J 1300 ty

Droughns- NY G 1100 ty

Bell- Det 900 ty

Lewis- Cle 800 ty

Rhodes- Oak 500 ty

Henry - Best combo of opportunity & fit

Droughns - Won't assume all of Tiki's touches, but he'll get most of them

McGahee - OL not what it was

Green - Higher in PPR

Jones - Lower in PPR

Lewis - Lowest ranked starter in this group

Bell - Placeholder for KJ, still could be traded again, too.

Rhodes - Team and situation both stink

6. Bell- Det...he may move up. I'm skeptical of KJ returning, its worse then we are led to believe 1100 ty
Per the blogger, Detroit signed Duckett to a one-year deal. If things stay the way they are, I think he wll take away Bell's goal-line carries, which dimnishes Bell's value.

being happy and fitting in with a teams identity is huge, ask Thomas Jones until he ended up in Chicago.....Willis fits Baltimore in every aspect, not to mention with Billick calling the plays(who was able to increase the production of that lemon Lewis towards the end of the season)....McGahee needs this change of scenery for his career, b/c he was dying a slow death in BUffalo, for christs sake he wanted them to move the team to Toronto.......so yes I am high on him, not based on past # but more so on potential, state of mind and situation.........His production will increase 35% from last year, not 50% <--- how did u get that number

 The exact order I'd put them in as well.If DEN doesn't bring in anyone else, Henry could be money in 07.Also, with total yardage being the discussion here, I like Thomas Jones a lot in NYJ. I look for him to be better utilized in the passing game there. Could present great value in PPR leagues, imho.

:goodposting: He should be part of the fantasy discussion. As should an evaluation of Brandon Jacobs, Lamont Jordan, etc. Basically, it would be great to get opinions on whose stock is going up and whose stock is going down.McGahee +

Benson ++

Lewis -

Bell Even to +

Jordan -

Jacobs -

Rhodes Even to -

Jones Even to -

NYJ Scrubs --

Droughns -

Jamal Lewis ran the ball for Balt over 20% more thanMcGahee did for the Bolls.I would expect a 30+% increase in McGahee's numbers in 2007. :goodposting:

1. McGahee- Balt

4. T Henry - Den

I see that everyone is sleeping on Rhodes.
You think he'll do worse? What you trying to sell him off? I like McGhee and Henry's chances best for big years.

Lewis and Jones will eke out 1000 or so.

The rest will have to go real cheap for me to draft in my auction.

My advice is to let someone in your league HOPE that Lamont is healthy, and let them spend a relatively high pick on him, especially if he looks good in the preseason. Personally, I don't think he'll be the guy. Try to grab Rhodes in the middle rounds and he could end up making a very nice borderline RB2 for you.

Unless he gets suspended...

:goodposting: I agree with above. McGahee and Henry about equal in redraft. McGahee >> Henry in dynasty only because of age. I'd take TJones before Lewis in both redraft and dynasty. In fact, I think I'd put TJones in a separate tier -- closer to McGahee/Henry than Lewis.

We can only have 4 RBs max on our roster so odds are slim of me touching any OAK RB this year due to RBBC concerns, among others. OAK still looks like a train wreck at this point.

1. Henry - Goes to the best team by far

2. Jones - Should put an end to the RBBC in NY.

3. McGahee - Best back, worst line.

4. Green - Unless AP falls to Houston, Green should get as many touches as he can handle.

5. Lewis - Could move ahead of Green if they pass on AP in the draft and improve the line.

6. Bell - Likely starter but wont get all the carries.

7. Droughns - NY should still draft another RB but Droughns has a legit chance to start over Jacobs.

8. Rhodes - Backup RB for a team that has major problems blocking and might start a rookie at QB. No thanks, he's not on my draft sheet at all.

I like this order, but not the totals. I don't think Rhodes' yards go down. He doesn't leave Indy for his yards to go down. I also think that Tatum Bell will do much better than what you list here, and may even swap him with JLew considering that horrendous line. I see Tatum doing well for the first 10-12 games and then I expect Kevin Jones to return.....I think your top 3 here are right on....If Henry has a problem holding onto the ball, he will come far short of this as Shanny will play anyone else at RB as long as he doesn't fumble.
