Ranking the "Question Mark" RBs (1 Viewer)

If you drafted tomorrow how would you rank these guys with "issues":

ADP

MJD

Ryan Mathews

Trent Richardson

Throw in McFadden and SJax as well as "controls".

Assuming most of these guys would fall value wise...

#1: Adrian Peterson (Simply too good if healthy. If I can get him in R2/R3 and get a solid 2-3 other guys to fill in early I'll take the risk)

#2: Maurice Jones-Drew (See above. Holdout does worry me in terms of whether he'll be game ready or suffer what CJ did last season)

#3: Darren McFadden (A lot of RB1 upside but also has Taiwan Jones behind him who has good speed)

#4: Steven Jackson (Not 'flashy' but dependable and as consistent year to year as an owner can get)

#5: Ryan Matthews (May miss the first two weeks but has strong upside if you can get him a few rounds later than usual. Good "stash" for the early weeks)

#6: Trent Richardson (I'm still not sold on Cleveland overall as an offense and I put him last by a decent margin. He's a great player but I'm not enamored with the coaching staff or team itself)

Redraft and with the stated assumptions:

1. McFadden - weekly difference maker. I'll take the chance that his health issues are a fluke.

2. MJD - assume that he reports. Worth some CJ-like holdout performance problems. I expect that he's staying in shape.

3. Matthews - 14 weeks of weekly difference maker + 2 weeks of planned for bench player (Kevin Smith?) is better than the rest.

4. Jackson - I think he'll get a ton of touches, but the offense is putrid. I'd rather have the weekly upside of the 3 in front of him and fill in if bad luck strikes.

5. Richardson - Would have been #4 before surgery. Assume we don't hear any negative news and he's back for game 1, I'm expecting a big workload after a few weeks of caution. Ahead of Peterson because I expect less ramp up to full workload.

6. Peterson - I think he'll only get 10 touches a game early, which puts a big damper on his value. Won't know what you'll be getting for a number of weeks. I'd rather know that Matthews is out for 2 weeks and then he's back at full strength after a injury that doesn't impact his legs. How many owners will get burned in week one starting AP because he's "healthy", and then Gerhart gets more carries.

Obvious factors that could change rankings in the order that I think they could happen:

1. Peterson set back

2. Richardson set back

3. MJD hold-out will carry into the season.

4. Pre-season injury to McFadden
