Why are we objectifying her acting?  She is a person with feelings.  What if someone rates her low and she sees it?  She is going to be devastated.

Joe:  Please remove ASAP

I have never seen anything she has actually been in...but I gave her an 8 based on my gut feeling...

It's only a matter of time before it's decided that ranking a football player's skills is too offensive.
I do find it more than a little homo-erotic when draft twitter obsesses about the hand size of college QB prospects. "HAND size". Please. We all know the subtext of what you are talking about there, fella's. Finish eating your banana and let's get back to talking about football.

I find it a bit gauche to assign numbers to human beings. But if I were giving her acting a grade.... I'd say B's. But REAL B's, and fabulous.

7:  Strong but not great actress.  Generally good acting qualities but with minor imperfections.  Not Oscar worthy performances.  Would be strong in commercials.

Khaleesi is a fantastic character.  But I don't feel like Clarke brought anything special to the role.  Dinklage took an even better character that I imagine is more difficult to play well, height requirements aside, and made Tyrion soar to even greater heights. Cersei has some fantastic moments but I wouldn't say the character overall is a better role than Khaleesi. But wow did Lena Headey take that role even further.  Fantastic actress.

Clarke just sort of played out the great character, and she is attractive.  That's all she had. She couldn't carry her role in Terminator Genesis.  (A role which Lena Headey totally nailed in The Sarah Connor Chronicles.)  Those are the only things I've seen Clarke in, but I can't think of even a good acting moment from her.  Her best moments were mainly the story, not her.

But she's hot, boy.  That's for sure.

On a scale of 1 to sexy, I rate her sexy.5.

That's fair criticism and all but.... just imagine for a second if that character had been played by Lena Dunham. Yup, I just put that thought(and those visuals) in your head and you'll never get them out. Bea Arthur! Boom!

She’s fine. I’m guessing she’ll do like 4 or 5 really terrible movies after Thrones finishes and then spend her 40/50s traveling around to ComicCons signing autographs.

Gave me her a 5. Doesn’t detract, but she’s nowhere nearly as skilled as someone like Lena Headey, Nicholas Cost... whatever, or Dinklage.

Now imagine it was Jennifer Lawrence, Alicia Vikander, Brie Larsen, or Elizabeth Olsen...

I'm only four seasons in, but, personally, i don't like the character and think Clarke is fairly vanilla in her acting.  As another said, her acting doesn't stand out or detract, so somewhere in the middle for me in terms of ratings.

The 6 to 7 crowd is spot on.  You really need a range to rate acting - and she hasn't displayed much range.

6 to 7 my be generous on second thought

I just finished up Season 7.  After seeing her reaction to one of her "children" dying (which was close to no emotion at all), I'd like to move my previous rating down to a 3.  She's just not very good.

OTOH, Lena Headey is phenomenal as Greg R pointed out.

Yeah, she’s just OK. Lena Headey is fantastic and in Sarah Connor Chronicles she was fantastic as well.
