The definitions are more important than the pics. The pics match the definitions, and are just references for comparison.
6 and below have a bit more detail in the definitions because they are harder to rank...mostly because people don't bother to rank something that's not attractive.
7 is cute
8 is hot (and yes, there is a distinct difference between cute and hot)
9 and 10's are special and rarified air.

ETA: there is no denying Scarlett Johansen is hot (not cute), so that automatically makes her an 8. But the reality is there are tiers of hotness above her and overall she's not rarified air solely on looks which is what rating a chick is about.

8.5 for me. Body is fantastic. Face is good but not great. Cleans up real well and the everyday pics still show a hot chick.
