UGH what a weekend for me and the Ravens... I hope this is an exaggeration

ESPN reports Ray Lewis suffered a torn triceps in Monday night's game.

Lewis played through the injury Monday night, but there seems to be a good chance that we won't see him again this year if the report is true. Sep. 10 - 9:46 pm et

pretty gutsy performance tonight considering this happened on one of the first few plays of the game... not sure how you make 1 tackle, much less 8 with 3 assists, with a torn tricep

He is editorializing or quoting an unreliable source...

I'll make up my own too...

Lewis won't miss a game despite arm injury
are you talking about the torn bicep or ray being out the year? the torn bicep was reported on the sidelines during the game and the sources seem to have been the raven trainers... if this injury keeps him out the year is a different story

Usually the only reason he would miss the entire season is if it was ruptured. He would not play with a rupture, even if he is Ray Lewis.

If you read the link, its Rotoworld's opinion he may be done for the year, not the OP's. Thanks for the info!

ok i misspoke.. nonetheless it a little too early for the brilliant physicians on rotoworld to judge the severity of lewis's injury

You may be right, but I'm thankful for the heads up. Thread title was not misleading. Its the early info like this that help make this board what it is.
