Ray Rice from Rutgers the case for #1 (1 Viewer)

lot of people have Rice around #4 or 5 overall. i think he can clearly make a case for #1 overall. the only other guy with no question marks would be AP and Rice catches more passes then AP. Rice has leach blocking for him now. Is on a run first smash mouth defensive team. Never has to play the Ravens (get it? he's on the ravens), no more Willis (but Run Ricky has vulture written all over him despite what coaches say).

His schedule is a bit rough with Steelers twice and Jets BUT I think both those teams are out of the way early on. After that its smoooth sailing.

Yeah, this whole argument has been hashed out already and we all pretty much agreed you are wrong.

yup and even though LHUCKS draws "thousands" quite a few including billy mays didn't reply to it simply cuz it was created by him.Any post started by Lhucks will start with a page of somewhat civil dialogue and end with about 10 pages of two to three members one of which is lhucks squabbling about something stupid.A similar thread started by another poster will be a page of normal discussion with all the BS filtered out........seriously, when was the last time a lhucks thread wasnt an absolute disaster even if it wasnt really his fault?

Youre suggesting he just wants to revisit the discussion with a fresh start. Im suggesting he was oblivious to the fact that this discussion already exists. However you feel about LHUCKS or the topics he starts is irrelevant.I would love to hear more input on the situation, I still have Rice #1 but I have serious concerns with their O-line and im not very knowledgeable about what goes on in baltimore, I was going to bump the other thread later today looking for input because I didnt get the Ravens Chiefs game where I live looking for input.

As a Rice owner from last year. Expect them to be underwhelming. I'm projecting 40 rushing / 60 receiving with no tds.But I won't be selling anytime soon. Pittsburg just plays him tough.

I wouldn't put much faith in his performance against PIT last year. He had the fewest carries of the year against them (8 and 9 - 3.1 YPC). They're definitely not going to limit his carries in the season opener. Looking at 2009 where he had 19 / 30 carries against PIT he did a lot better (4.65 YPC with some decent reception #s).
