Ray Rice, McFadden, Moreno - 4th round rb (1 Viewer)

Local league in its 5th year, guys fairly solid in the earlier rounds, not so much in the later rounds (i.e. smart guppies - which I may be as well). Draft was held August 24th.-14 team league (first 2 rounds keepers with the option of picking in the 3rd round or keeping a 3rd player. Draft order was random)-fractional scoring, 1 point per 20 yards receiving/rushing, 6 points per TD, -2 points per fumble, and .5 PPR4.14 Darren McFadden (3-time league champion)5.01 Knowshon Moreno (3-time league champion)6.02 Beanie Wells (me)6.05 Felix Jones7.07 Donald Brown7.13 Ray Rice (me)13.02 Leon Washington (I was an idiot who passed up on him and took Shonn Greene & Davone Bess with my 11th and 12th round picks instead)I really think a lot of people are overrating Ray Rice. I'll be happy if he performs like a #2 RB (and I'm not convinced he will do that well).I like Moreno the most out of the McFadden, Moreno, and Rice group.
How you could like anything that's coming out of Denver right now is beyond me. I know the Denver running game is traditionally very solid (last year wasn't very fun though) but McDaniels is anything but Mike Shannahan. I liked Knowshon in college but to me, Rice is in the best situation on the most stable team. I'll take my gamble there.

Im my 12 team ppr league draft yesterday...

Rice went 4.1 (19th RB taken)

McFadden went 4.3 (21st RB taken)

Moreno went 7.11 (30th RB taken... by me)

I think all of these guys are a gamble in the 4th round since none of them have proven that they can put up fantasy points per game to justify that high of a pick. I gladly gambled on Moreno 3 rounds later as my 3rd RB.

Just an aside... I took Reggie Bush at 4.2... never would have considered Rice or McFadden there.

If I had to rank them in order, I'd go Rice, Moreno, McFadden.

been targeting Rice in all my drafts. his ADP is goin up daily. got him last night at the end of the 6th in a 10 team ppr.

Rice is gonna be a workhorse. the Mc's will take a few carries, but Rice will be the guy in Baltimore.

Flacco looks good too. good defense. they are gonna pound the rock.

oh yea, and Rice is gonna catch a lot of balls.

I'm in four leagues, 12-team PPR, and took each of them once. Here's where they went:

League 1: Rice 3.10, McFadden 4.08, Moreno 5.08 (me)

League 2: McFadden 5.03, Moreno 5.04, Rice 6.08 (me)

League 3: Moreno 4.09, McFadden 4.11, Rice 5.08

League 4: McFadden 5.07 (me), Rice 5.11, Moreno 6.10 (huh, why didn't I take him?)

So, all over the place, but definitely someone's available in the 5th, and they could all be gone by the 6th.

12 team single player keeper league, 2 RBs, balanced rosters required. We drafted on Sat. 8/31 (before Panthers/Ravens game)

Rounds (round adjusted for keeper round):

18 McFadden 2.08 (3.08) - I think this was a little high

19 Brown 2.X (3.X)

20 Moreno 3.06 (4.06) - high due to keeper potential

21 Johnson

22 T. Jones 4.X (5.X)

23 Lynch

24 Addai

25 Parker

26 Wells

27 Ward 5.X (6.X)

28 Benson

29 Bush 6.X (7.X)

30 Lewis

31 Stewart

32 J. Jones

33 White

34 D. Brown 7.X (8.X)

35 Hightower

36 Rice 7.09 (8.09) - I was shocked he was still around, but happy to take him there!

37 Norwood 8.X (9.X)
