Enjoying the razor talk thread.  This poll is a direct off-shoot of that conversation.  I have a medium growth beard, I really need to shave every day ...but since I have been retired I usually only shave every 3-4 days.  

I went with the Dorco quad blades a while back and am definitely not loving it.  I have been toying with the idea of DE razor set up - but am leery of the nicks and cuts.  

I am tired of lousy shaves.  I have to go over and over certain spots - especially around my jawline.  

As an older adult, a really good shave is one of the many luxuries to which I have never treated myself.  Not that I want to go with the most expensive option - but if that is the answer for the best shave ... I will.

Gillette. Liked the Shick! blade but hated their lube strip.
