RB Bijan Robinson, ATL (2 Viewers)

2.0 YPC today, yikes. Obviously he was a beast receiving so he ended up having an awesome day.

Was his OL trash or why did he struggle on the ground? I know Vita is a beast but...

What did penix do wrong?

Seemed to be missing throws regularly and looked rattled and jittery from the constant pressure in the pocket. JJM looked even worse on the other side, which seemed to overshadow Penix's struggles. One game overreaction, perhaps, but I wanted to see confident 2nd year QBs with command and saw the opposite.

Agreed Bijan will create his own, but in the RZ and GL, they seem to favor Allgier, and if Penix is going to struggle like he did that is going to potentially severely cap Bijan's upside this season.

And don't get me started on London!!

What was wrong with London? Fumbles sucked but it was a great punch by the defender, it happens.

London was fine. I am talking about what happens to London if Penix does not play well this season. One game panic at play here. But he looked jittery and innacurate. JJM looked worse and the Falcons won without Penix matching JJ's turnovers, but I did not like what I saw. Again, one game panic. Maybe.

Relax. He threw for 300 yards last week. This was on the road for the Vikings home opener, not an easy environment.

This all started about when... Week 10 or so last season, and it hasn't really stopped since? Before that, there were some VERY frustrating Charbonnet/KWIII-like weeks with him and Algeier it seems to me. But since then, house afire.

How concerned should we be about Bijan's production given the recent OL injuries?
I own zero shares of baaaaajon, but if I did I'd have ZERO concerns. Dudes about to be the #1 scoring rb in all formats.
I would take him top 3 without hesitation as well.
For about 3 days I was taking him over Chase at pick 1. Didn't make sense. I absolutely would take him at pick 2 in any startup.
I'd take Bijan over Gibbs in redarft but in dynasty would prefer Gibbs.

Yeah Bijan is 1.1 in redraft imo

Marshall Faulk

This YFS stretch is insane. Prime CMC vibes and Allgeier does help keep him fresh for more explosive plays. Would love more touchdowns but this is working well right now

He got a lot of cardio last night. I think he was in motion for just about as many scrimmage yards as he ran/received for.

Using him and Algeir the way they did last night was very smart.

They did some work during their bye week.

From X

Yards from scrimmage through 5 games:

Chris Johnson record-breaking season: 600 yards (468 rushing, 132 receiving)

Bijan Robinson this season: 822 yards (484 rushing, 338 receiving)

Dude is a STUD. Imagine his #s if he didn't have Allgeier poaching so many touches.

As a Bijan owner I’m thankful that Allgeier is there to take some load away. I’m not sure he could take the beating a significantly bigger workload would incur. When you watch him in pass protection he is just nails in the way he stones DLs singlehandedly, but add that to the rushing and receiving and he’s taking a pounding every game.
