RB Breece Hall, NYJ (2 Viewers)

I got the 1.07 and 1.11 for my 1.03 (and a future 4th) - so yes it's possible.
That certainly gives me hope.   The more I think about my roster today, the more it makes sense to move back and add more pieces in say like the top 15 overall.    I can use WR or RB.   And I have 2 picks in rds 3, 4, 5 to make any offer a bit more attractive.

Is it unreasonable to ask for two first rd picks this year for the 1.01?   A couple teams in my league have 2 picks in the first rd.   Like 4 and 10 and another has 2 and 9 and yet another has 11 and 12.   I wouldnt mind gaining bodies rather than Hall.   My roster took a hit during the draft, R Moore and Chark got a swift kick in the berries.   I wouldnt care who they took at 1.01, Hall, Walker, London.   Just want more better players.
I offered 1.02 and 1.09 for the 1.01 and it was rejected without a counter pre NFL draft.

You should expect 2 solid first rounders in my eyes.

I started getting offers three days ago. Declined the first two but countered. We'll see how it goes. We have league mates here so I'll keep the specifics on the DL until after it goes through, if we can come to terms.

I think he's going to be an elite player so I think it's fair to expect a lot for him.

put him on the block and the only nibble was a 1st and 2nd in 2023 from a playoff team (that would be in much better shape with him added)

One team i could offer that pick has 6 elite WRs.  2 RBBC, great Qb.   I might hand him the keys to the league if Hall is top 15 type rb for 5 years.   Gotta decide in 4 days.  Draft is saturday.   Yikes!

Draft Hall.

ETA: I’d only trade the 1.1 to the team with the 1.2 and 1.11 (or whatever the other late-ish 1st they had). Then you get Walker and Best WR Avail later in the round. If not that, I’d stay put at 1.1

Only had one offer for 1.1 so far and it was ridiculous. Not really going to put anything out there because I need a rb badly.

I dont need RB as badly as I need more options overall, i wouldnt consider moving out of 1.01 if i needed 1 guy to be a contender.   I have some nice starters at RB.   My WRs got stung by the NFL draft.

I'm the opposite. Loaded at wr but hurting at rb. I actually do need more than one rb to contend, but it would be a great help if I could get a solid one for a few years.

Bloom has Walker as his 1.01 but I would take that with a grain of salt because if you look back at the past years he has had some disastrous takes and rankings on players and if you followed his list you might be pretty salty right now about how your picks turned out (and how the ones you passed on turned out).

It happened to a friend of yours?

Yup - it’s amazing that we actually get things  wrong sometimes.

I offered 1.7 and 1.10 to the guy with 1.1 and was flatly turned down.  Going to give it a little time and revisit closer to our draft, but right now I'm starting to like my two picks to grab a top WR and one of the second tier RBs.

Got an offer for 1.01, was so bad(insulting) I just figure he doesnt want to trade, so thats pretty much it.   I'll take Hall.   No need trying to waste my time to negotiate with someone who has no interest, or thinks I am a moron.

Did you post it in the worst dynasty offers ever thread?

I guess no one in my league read Bloom's article.   I have the 1.02 in two leagues was hoping 1 of them would follow in Bloom's footsteps and take Walker 1.01 nope not happening.

Jets easing top picks into rookie camp as Robert Saleh scales back intensity | 5 takeaways

Excerpt:

Ready for a RB committee

Breece Hall was a one-man show at Iowa State. The All-American running back, who was drafted in the second round last week, carried 21 times per game on average so what does he think about joining a committee?

“I’m excited for it,” Hall said. “Having a workload like that takes a toll on your body so it’s going to be cool having another counterpart or two to take that load off and share the ropes with. It’s going to be different, but I’m willing to do it. It’s good to be flexible like that.”

Hall joins a backfield that also features Michael Carter, Tevin Coleman and Ty Johnson.

For comparison, Carter averaged 10 carries per game as a rookie last year.

Ha. I didn’t want to be that guy, but I thought the same thing. A normal finger tip catch under no pressure in shorts and a tshirt. We’ve all done that in our backyard games.
not saying he can’t catch or won’t be a really good RB. Just that the reaction to that catch is over the top.

If that's how you feel seems like an easy call to move back, 5 would likely guarantee at least one.
Exactly. All those top 5 WRs are jumbled in a bunch in terms of ADP. Trade back to 1.4 or 1.5 if you get a good offer and enjoy the extra piece(s) you’ll gain from such a move.

For sure, I just have reservations going against what appears to be an overwhelming consensus.  Luckily our rookie draft isn't until mid august so I have plenty of time to asses.

I have the 1.01 in my dynasty draft and am reluctant.  Long term, I"m much higher on Wilson, London, Williams
Trade back and take the top tier WR. Last year I needed a RB and took M Carter @1.07 over J Waddle

and D Smith. B Hall is a tier below the top in a not so strong but fairly deep draft class.

Who in the league is a good comp for Hall? I'm considering a move for Hall but trying to figure out what the masses are expecting from him.

I'm also very curious of what everyone says.  I'm trying to decide whether I want to make a move for Hall or Javonte Williams in dynasty.

There's a strong correlation between top tier fantasy RBs and top offenses, which the Jets are not.  Does that concern anyone?  Is Hall likely capped by that?

He's being comped to Matt Forte in a lot of analyst circles...I've heard Arian Foster once or twice too.

I think the Jets offense should be improved but I take Williams over Hall despite Gordon hanging around. I do think Hall will have a nice rookie season though.

I was offered Williams and Jamal Adams for Hall and Troy Anderson. Fair offer but I declined. Really like Hall

That's interesting because based on college tape, he looks nothing like Kamara to me.
He's got pass catching skills, but I agree. He doesn't look a whole lot like Kamara. Now, if Hall can emulate Kamara's, strength, health, and training habits, then that's a good thing. Kamara trains like few others, or so I've been told.
