Yeah he looked elusive as heck. I thought he looked great and just needs to learn to go down better.

I'm not saying that's what happened here but you've really never seen that? Ahmad Bradshaw did in a SuperBowl once on the biggest stage. There was at least three times I can remember players stopping at the one and falling down to run clock - and that's without really thinking about it.

I’ve seen the “fall down instead of score” far more often than the “let the other team score” strategy. The latter is far more rare IMO.

Great game last night except for getting stuffed about ten times inside the ten, six-seven times inside the five. Those are a lot of points left on the board there. Will Andy Reid keep running straight ahead plays with him if that keeps up and they're not in blowouts?
That was no good. But lots to love in terms of elusiveness. He's a hybrid. Bigger than a scat back, too small for a power back. We'll see how he holds up.

I'd be stunned if he doesn't see more targets, but it looked like Houston was all over KC's screen and swing attempts, even those to the WR Robinson and other RB Darrel Williams. You could see them flock to the back or outlet. Which just means you get beat handily with Kelce and Watkins over the middle and in the seam, which is what happened.
Are there any other considerations, like salary cap, keeper spots/contract years, etc? If it's standard dynasty seems like a no-brainer, although you may have to deal some of those parts to truly max out the value.

not with the rest of that package. Burrow & Ridley aren't scrubs, and he gets a future 1st!
I also have to assume the team willing to make that deal may not finish with the best of records in 2020.

Is it a minimum keeper format? Do you lose anything by acquiring all those guys? Can you not keep them all? There has to be some reason you're waiting here.

Huh. Mixon just signed an extension. When I tried to shop the 1.01, nobody bit even though we all knew it was CEH. This is exactly what I was looking for. YMMV of course, but I would also smash accept. Good luck regardless.

You are correct. The team making the deal is not going to be very good so there's a good chance that 1st turns into a top 3 pick. You keep 10 players every year. No contracts or salary cap or anything like that.
I think CEH looked great last night but I think it's time to cash out as his value might be as high as it's going to go. Plus if he keeps falling down on purpose at the goal line he will never reach his full potential!! LOL

”high as it’s going to go” is an understatement. You’re looking at a serviceable replacement RB, a future WR1 and a potential future QB1 AND a top ~6 draft pick?

Exactly as I saw it. If someone offered me Mixon+Ridley for CEH I’d probably strongly consider it.
Burrow+Mixon would likely also get it done.
Add in that 2021 1.xx pick and it’s a slam dunk.
But to get ALL that tasty goodness in one package?
As you said - there isn’t a player in the game I wouldn’t click accept for that.

Yeah I have Barkley and CEH on one team, Zeke and McC on another, and Kamara and Cook in another. It wouldn’t be a no-brainer smash accept for any of them besides CEH (maybe Zeke) for any of those but I’d come to my senses quick and accept. The odds of “winning” that trade are just so much in your favor. Mixon isn’t far behind any of these guys - especially with what that offense could become.

My patience is paying off man lol. Another team offered Lamar, Akers, and a #1 next year (has a good chance of being #1 overall pick). Let the bidding war begin! The CEH hype is out of control. A deal will be made shortly either way. Anyone else getting crazy offers for him? I've never really seen anything like this.

Yes agreed. I was not as bullish on him as others prior to this game and it's a long season, but he looked great in game 1. Really nice start for the rookie.

All these interviews (Reid, CEH, Kelce, Tyrann) were all a pretty good listen and everyone has great things to say about CEH.

Still a great offer but Burrow is a cut next off-season (and likely never starts for him this yr) in a keep 10, one qb league. Keeping Ridley will require cutting another strong player as well.

Agree to disagree. If Burrow turns out to be something special he will most certainly be worth more than a kicker.
Regardless that package was good enough without Burrow.
1.xx pick, Ridley & Mixon get it done IMO.

In a 10 team league i dont think it was that great of a deal. And one i typically try to avoid.
Ive found you want elite players in small leagues. CEH isnt that yet, but i think he has the highest probability of becoming that out of all the players involved. QBs mean less in small leagues. Its easier to get WRs of Ridleys calibur. And that trading potential studs for 3 mediocre guys is a great way to not win.
It could work out, but i dont see slam dunk. In a 12+ team league its a much better deal and i get that. Jmo.

Sure, just explaining why Burrow is a drop in that format. Unless he goes all LJax or Mahomes of course.

Agreed, it really depends on the rest of his roster. Burrow is a very likely cut if his other QB is Mahomes, Jackson, etc., but maybe not if it's Brees, Rodgers, etc. Same with Ridley- very likely a keeper but could be a small or large upgrade over the guy he has to now cut instead.
10 is a decent amount of keepers, but not the same as dynasty so it changes things some.

Yes that’s an easy decline. Even if you don’t believe in CEH, his value is way higher

And although I own Evans in one league and will most likely ride him out, there’s a very good chance his value declines by the end of the season as I don’t think he’s a great fit with Brady. I hope he scores enough TDs to make up for the probable decline in catches and yards.
