RB controversy in Seattle? (1 Viewer)

Mo' Morris has had 2 good weeks. Alexander looked like crap when healthy and now he's coming off an injury. What do you guys think? Is mike holmgren the loyal type or does he go with the hot hand?

Who's your dealer? He must have good stuff. :banned: SA is the NFL MVP.

Obviously, a healthy Shawn Alexander isn't going to share carries with anyone......but what if Alexander is only at 80% the rest of the season? Morris' last two games have shown that there's no need to rush Alexander back before he's 100%.

This is key, SA will not be getting every carry.

I think you should start Morris every week when SA comes back.

Would you be willing to bet that Alexander gets 23+ carries his first game back?

Yes there will be a RB Controversey on Monday, so you should probally off load S. Alexander while you can. His value is dropping by the second.

P.S. Please send me an invite to your draft next year

:homer: Take from Homer , NO way will there be a RB issue when SA returns,

I just can't believe I am having to post this in this forum....

Why did you pick 23?

The way Holmgren has been whining about Alexander continuing to be held out by team doctors answers your question, but anybody expecting Alexander to do anything special for at least 3-4 games after being unable to run for 2 months is a fool. He's in no shape to be playing ping pong right now, much less be in NFL game shape.

Is there an emoticon that shows a head slapping it's own forehead in that "omg wtf" expression?

this is just the place to use it.

That was his average last year, and in the first 2 games this year.

I have a feeling the way this thread is going, that I won't be able to jump start a decent conversation, but does anyone worry that Alexander might be held out a little longer now?

Seattle effectively now has a 3 game lead with 7 left with the win over St. Louis. Sure, they would still be going for the bye in the playoffs, but next week is SF. If Alexander hasn't even starting running yet (pretty sure that is what they said earlier in the week), let alone practicing, he probably won't play. Out of the 7 remaining games, 2 are against SF, one against Arizina and one against Tampa. The other two are GB and Denver.

Just a thought, but now that Seattle has bounced back a bit from Hasselback being out, they are pretty much in control of the division thus already in the playoffs if you will. If Morris is doing OK now and should be fine in 5 of the 7, maybe they will ease Alexander back more now to make sure he is healthy and doesn't reaggravate it.

See the Alexander thread. I doubt he plays this coming week.

He has been hurt since week one. He hasn't really been healthy all year. So essentially you're saying he looked like crap last year.(I know this analysis is not necessary in a thread like this, but it seems better than just posting a :blackdot: , cuz this one still has some potential)

Thanks. Just trying to see if I could help turn this around. No chance on that though. :D

I can pretty much guarantee that this guy is NOT going to carry the ball one single time for Seattle.

By the way shuke, I just checked out the "Shaun Harrison not too talented but good" thread and to be honest, it might have been better if we discuss Alexander in this one.
