RB Derrick Henry, BAL (5 Viewers)

If you're playing against a desperate owner that got stuck with Henry in their playoff lineup, just realize it wasn't your year.

Would love to know how start percentage. Probably a whole lot of pissed-off owners watching him do this on their bench after sucking all season

Nah, I dropped him everywhere weeks ago. Someone actually picked him up and played him in the consolation bracket. I guess it is meaningless but entertaining to see someone put up a crooked number like that.

I guess his stat-line for the year is not horrible now...

Two good matchup left too.  Fire him up!

Week 15 @NYG: Giants just allowed 262 total yards to Cohen/Howard in a game where the Bears played from behind a lot (and ultimately lost). The previous four weeks they allowed big games to Adrian Peterson (26/149/1 rushing, 1/7/1 receiving), Matt Brieda (17/101/1 rushing, 3/31/1 receiving), Peyton Barber (18/106/1 rushing), and Josh Adams/Corey Clement (22/84/1 rushing for Adams, 4/45/0 rushing and 2/31 receiving for Clement).

Week 16 vs. Was: Redskins have allowed 140+ all-purpose yards to RBs in four straight games, including 220+ yards and 3 TDs to the Falcons duo of Coleman/Smith. We'll see if the Eagles RBs can continue this trend tonight.

Not even rostered at the moment in my league.  But I think he clears waivers on Saturday so will make for an interesting rule exploitation (NFL fantasy) if he's picked up and used next week.

Henry's size & speed is why he owns one of the best 4th quarter YPCs in the NFL. He needs touches, though.

I think it's going to be difficult for the Titans to go with someone else as their feature back next season, but coaches can be really stubborn.

I have doubts they'll make Henry the starter next week. Remember, they tried to trade him. Making a change now means Vrabel will need to swallow some pride, but maybe he does it.

This output is great in the one league I was forced to play him in (and way overdue), but it's killing me in another bigger money league where I was counting on 12 or so from Corey Davis! :(

Me too!  But only in one league, unfortunately. I drafted Henry in EVERY LEAGUE this year.  What a disappointment until tonight.  I guess I should be grateful I have him starting in at least 1 league.
Yep I got him on a few benches too and am lucky enough to have stuck him in one.  Let's be honest though, the only reason we started him was because we were totally screwed this week in that league. 😂

I have owned this guy in dynasty since his rookie year. Was excited about this season's opportunity. After first week he has pretty much sat on my bench as i patiently waited. Now I am out of playoffs and he goes off like this. Oh well, there is always next season Charlie Brown.

I have 2 RBs in this particular league. Crowell and Henry. Thank GOD, Crowell missed practice today.  It's the only reason I put Henry in last minute.  Sometimes its better to be lucky than smart!

I'm in 2 leagues and Henry wasn't started in either.  I'm actually very happy about that.  I don't like the idea of a team lucking into this type of a game.

Why not? I mean, I'm against luck as much as anyone from an overall perspective.  But you earned a playoff birth and I'm sure you, like me and everyone else, has been on the bad side of luck numerous times.  I'll take some luck when it falls my way. I ain't ashamed of it.

I should have been more clear.  I have no problem when I luck into that type of game.  I just don't want anyone else in my league to have that type of luck.         😉

I swear, if one person says they held him all year because they knew this was coming they are ####### liars and never had the balls to drop him or there was never anyone worth picking up.

I had this SOB for the past 3 years and dropped him a few weeks ago. And would do the same exact thing 10/10. I am happy for the dude, because I really do think he has the talent and I really hope he leaves TN.

Anyone who dropped him in dynasty deserves seeing this game. If your benches are short enough to justify outright dropping a guy like Henry, you're playing in a Keeper league, not a dynasty.

This is why I traded Chris Carson and Mike Williams for him.

On my bench, of course. That's gonna impact my coaching efficiency rating.

Fantasy performance of the year?

For sure. I drafted him in every single league and he was a major bust. He is on my bench in every league where I still have him except 1 dynasty league where I had 1 other option.  Nobody predicted this.  Although I can't help but to wonder the timing of the Hunt situation then Henry doing this. I feel like it's suspicious. These owners are in this business to make money. (<<<period) Why wouldn't they be gambling when they can easily influence the probability of many scenarios?

The other owner still wins that trade if Henry stays in TN.

I held him all year and I DO believe in his ability and never lost that faith. But I did lost faith in the coaching staff to use him properly.

Redraft.

ETA: and he won the trade regardless. I was expecting this from the moment Lewan returned to the lineup and my fantasy season still.had hope.

Had this guy last year.

Start him, he did nothing.   Bench him, he goes for a 60 yard TD run.    Fantasy football is a fickle mistress.

Rotoworld take:

Derrick Henry rushed 17 times for 238 yards and four touchdowns in the Titans' Week 14 win over the Jaguars.

Wikipedia named Henry the new owner of the Jaguars after his 99-yard touchdown run; A run that holds our vote for "the most disrespectful run of all-time." But Henry was sensational on all of his carries tonight on his way to breaking the Titans single-game rushing record. Henry has flashed brilliance like this at times during his career, but he's yet to put it all together on a consistent basis. Perhaps this is the beginning of that. Henry will be an upside RB2 against the Giants in Week 15, and if you started Henry this week, then congrats. You are in the fantasy semi-finals.

Oh the whole reason I kept him for 3 years is his ability, and I still do. But like I said, unless he leaves TN he is a dead man walking. It’s a real shame. He ended up with an ulcer for sitting on my bench for so long. I dropped him for his own good.
