Time to add for dynasty was during rookie drafts. I dropped him and picked back up recently, but I shouldn’t have dropped in the first place. I don’t expect much of a role this year, but I hope to see enough to give promise for the future.time to add?
Should always clarify. I suppose he’s only viable to the Kamara owner in redraft, but probably just barely.I was talking redraft...

"He's ready to go," #Saints HC Kellen Moore on rookie RB Devin Neal.
Neal is expected to take on a larger role with Kendre Miller out for the season.
Yes.can he catch?
I was reading it was his pass pro that has kept him off the field so far this season. I think he is in line for some decent work though. Kamara is no longer a RB who can take 80% of the snaps. His years are showing and he is consistently on the injury report. The Saints can't realistically give Kamara 20+ touches a game for the rest of the season.Yes.can he catch?
Soph - 21 for 183
Jr - 25 for 217
Sr - 24 for 254 - 10.6 YPC
Makes a lot of catches with his body and "Small hands" were basically the only knocks in his profile for receiving, but it never showed up as a detriment on film IMO. Improved each year as a receiving back, especially his senior year. Runs good routes with tempo and ability to change speeds to bait defenders. Excellent fluidity and acceleration at break points.
He also wasn't great in pass pro, which I guess we can lump in there as part of his receiving skills because it could limit their desire to put him in there on 3rd downs if he can't at least identify and put a chip on blitzing defenders.
He has the potential to be an every down back though, and was just that for Kansas for nearly three years; breaking most of their schools RB records along the way. Was one of the backs I was surprised fell as far as he did in the draft considering his versatility.
Agree with JohnnyU for redraft he's basically Kamara insurance. Would probably need an injury or very positive game script (eg a blowout) to put up starter points for you. And I doubt the Saints see many blowouts, at least going in their favor haha. Should be owned in every dynasty league though considering his profile and that Kamara is 30 years old now.
I believe that. Nearly every rookie RB seems to need to work on blocking; Neal just maybe a little more than average. But it also seems like something the majority of guys pick up relatively quickly, at least to a competant/good enough level where they won't get their QB killed. He's like 215lbs and nearly 6' so there shouldn't be a size issue. Hopefully he's made some progress there through training camp and these first 7 weeks.I was reading it was his pass pro that has kept him off the field so far this season. Considering FBG told me to start him over Swift I sure the heck hope so130 total yards and a TD for the Real Deal Devin Neal. #RCJH

Eww I wouldn’t roster Hill personally. Way too gimicky and I jury prone. He’s available in my league. I grabbed Taysom as a flier but I can’t trust either in that offense.
Curious why you think this?I still think Estime becomes a big part of Saints running game.
It will be fairly even split imo
Hot take.Hmmmm.
Who?I still think Estime becomes a big part of Saints running game.
Devin Neal rushed 19 times for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Saints’ Week 14 win over the Bucs, adding a 14-yard reception.
Neal’s three-yard score to cap off the Saints’ opening drive was the first touchdown of his career. Excellent stuff for fantasy managers taking the FLEX plunge, but Neal then surprisingly lost two more rushing scores to not-exactly-dual threat Tyler Shough. Neal did out-touch backup Evan Hull 20-2, and he ground out some turf yards in obvious rushing conditions in rainy Tampa weather. Basically, he passed the RB3 assignment, though Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle) could be back for Week 15. If not, Neal will find himself hanging around the top 30 as New Orleans takes on Carolina’s middle-of-the-road run D.

OopsI'd drop Pollard ina heartbeat for an actual playing RB.
Right? Luckily I traded Pollard like 8 weeks ago. So he couldn't hurt me by being on my bench this week.OopsI'd drop Pollard ina heartbeat for an actual playing RB.
(1) He’s still on his rookie contract, which won’t expire until after next season. Is the thought that Kendre Miller will be somewhere else next year? I've been holding on to Miller since his rookie season...waiting to see his moment to shine. But I don't feel like he'll ever get the opportunity.
I don't think you can say that yet.........If Neal impresses down the stretch with his opportunity I would expect him to be in the driver's seat for next year.I think Kendre has a slight advantage going into next year but will have to prove it in camp & during this next season.
You’re correct in that I can’t say that with any certainty. But I can offer an opinion based on my viewing Kendre as the more physical inside runner. In the end, it comes down to camp/early-season performance (as I mentioned).I don't think you can say that yet.........If Neal impresses down the stretch with his opportunity I would expect him to be in the driver's seat for next year.I think Kendre has a slight advantage going into next year but will have to prove it in camp & during this next season.

I don't have that dilemma, but I can definitely see the logic. We saw what Breece's floor is without a QB last week. Also might depend on whether you want to shoot for upside. I don't think Neal has much of a ceilingAnyone benching Breece Hall in a bad matchup for Neal?
Neal was limited today for what it's worth. Abdomen is what they said. Listed as Questionable. May be nothing but worth noting.Kamara not practicing again today. Should mean a lot of Neal again.
I am. Trying to navigate my collection of misfits of Kyren, Hall, Judkins, Monangai, Corum, and Neal. Pretty sure I am going Kyren and NealAnyone benching Breece Hall in a bad matchup for Neal?
Hull got the backup carries the past few weeks but I don't know if either are worth owning.Who gets the bulk of the carries if both Neal and Kamara are out ?
Evan Hull or Audric Estime ?
